Cleanable/serviceable debris filters?

We have a winner!

We installed a dam with a gate, the water is forced through the filtration pipe which adds a bunch of oxygen because of all the turbulence. Every 2 weeks the gate is shut and all the trash is removed.

Yes, I have two actually.

The battery is beginning to show its age unfortunately :frowning:

How’s the backlash?

I only installed one gear drive but: too big

I almost had a heart attack when I opened a thread, thinking it was new, only to see a comment from Tech.Shit. For a moment, I thought he had managed to come back.

Anyone else get sore knees from skating?

I’ve mostly replaced cycling with eskating now due to patella tracking / knee inflammation, but after skating over 100km on a thane wheeled board two Saturdays ago, my knees are still baked from that ride.

I’ve not tried wheels like the radium’s or Mad’s with the holes in them. Are they much softer on the joints than TB110’s or the evolve 97’s For example?

When I was young, there were no eboards. Now I have eboards, I’m losing my youth.

Can anybody identify these and if they will work with Luna 350s or matrix 2s?

Not Matrix 2, probably Luna 350s, I think I have some matrix 2 pivot cups spare if you need.

Do they taste more like lemon or vanilla?

Strawberry.

Hmm I guess that would be more citrus-y which would be WFB. Krank is a bit sweeter like vanilla.

Ahh I see.

I get significantly more knee problems if im locked into a stance. If i can wonder around the deck and even just ride around on the front 2/3 of the deck i can keep from feeling the burn. Also try shifting your stance significantly forward - not nose walking but forward facing. Take the twist out of your knees.

If your rear foot is more centered on the deck the deck will eat up a bunch of the vibration. If you are in forward “chad” stance (both toes facing most forwards). It will let your knees relax and rest. Switch it up. Also pneumatics but i get good results on 90mm thane too. If your feet go numb you aren’t moving enough .

Chur,

Yeah I even switch stance completely and ride the other way for parts of the ride. This can lead to accidents too though. I’m finding it harder than expected to become fluent at riding with either foot leading. I assume it’s an old dog / new tricks situation because downhillers on YouTube seems to have no trouble.

I think maybe getting old just has its challenges. It’s enevivitable. But, only possible to identify in hindsight.

Took pnumies Saturday been. Thing with them though is coupled with a days worth of beer drinking at multiple distant pubs, they encourage speeds that could end up not so forgiving in jeans and a bike helmet.

That is much riding dude…

I expect I would be feeling it too.

Have I told you about my lord and Savior barefoot shoes???

I have been riding switch stance a whole bunch to alleviate pain on my neck…

It’s hard to do.
A whole different tempo for sure.

It is a fun learning curve for me.
