My job isn’t, I dig holes, no one cares, except little kids, they watch melike I’m operating a Gundam( showing my age with this reference,I’m sure) honking or waving makes their day,I feel important then
The coolest jobs ,like fight club managers, you can’t talk about,we get it ,I’m jealous
What am I looking at? Radiator for a sex machine? Are you diagnosing medical ailments with cooling? I need to know ! God admit, don’t play with my emotions like this!
A coil for cooling clogged as fuck
I find 9 lbs of dirt in million dollar machines air filters all the time. Hell if I don’t like the foreman I’ll put a ball of paper in the air intake “ the machine is overheating, sorry “ I’m going home with 8 c ya.
But in general I take care of the equipment that takes care of me
The HVAC tech that admitted they were having difficulty and said “call an electrician” is an unsung hero in this situation. So many of them would never admit it.
I’ll never ask for directions or read the instructions either
That’s why you get paid over scale ![]()
If you see your ac usage creeping up and struggling to reach temp, get it cleaned
I work with these guys a lot so it’s nice. Whenever the find something weird or dangerous they call me and I bail them out. Don’t get me wrong, ill change your lightbulbs at electrician rates if you really want me to, but the fun stuff is the weird stuff
Dont threaten me with a good time
Never forget.
This does the same thing as a VESC
For anybody that has some knowledge on Onewheels, do you think trading my Onewheel plus for this would be a good trade? Not really sure on people’s opinions of meepo…
Anyone?
If you think it’s a good deal take it, i think meepo is a bit overpriced and none of their smaller boards are fun enough that im really wanting to play on them. Ive hear their qc is not great so new you need to give them a thorough once over to add loctite and tighten everything up but this is used so you should do that anyway.
If you’re looking for a 30mile range street board there is nothing wrong with this board. If you don’t ride the one wheel then trade it out.
If you ride the one wheel id keep it, if its an xr its not a great deal for trade but only if you actually ride it. Can probably sell an xr for the 750 and pick something else up too but i don’t know the market.
My options are biased, as the hurricane sits in a board style i dont really like - i like super boards that have crazy high specs but never get picked up/always riding them and aren’t multi use - and smaller thane boards you can play on but also pick up one handed or mall grab/last mile commute and park trail boards.
The hurricane sits in the middle ground that just doesn’t appeal to how i ride. It’s almost enough to take on the pothole streets here but not quite, and is too big and fast for the trails and sidewalks/boardwalks.
It is so nice to have such a large work area for both esk8 work but also for pouring epoxy or silicone. Downside is that the over head lighting is shit and I’ve been looking for a replacement. At least the floor lamp helps but Id prefer that the wired in light was better.
This area was supposed to be a dinning /eating area but Ill never use that so it is my work area. I’ve got a monitor stand /clamp that I keep not installing so I can have my surface off the desk if needed.
The ceilings are higher in this spot so I can’t just stack the side table on top of the desk to reach the ceiling like I did here
A not at all sketchy set up. The stool was just to hold the fixture while I removed some dry wall that was in the way
Thanks for that insight, I agree, the board is in a weird middle ground of specs, I just thought value wise. I have the onewheel plus, it’s the older model. It’s worth less than half the XR but I do ride it very often. Especially when my board is out of commission.
Errr megurd, and i thought ladders were dangerous
. For work area lights i can not recommend more strongly the flat panel led lights. They make some pretty big ones too and the quality of the light for working on stuff is amazing. I use two 12” by 48” lights set to 4k color temp in my fine work area and have some more of the 12x36 lights in the garage work bench areas.
That light was a spot where they had the wiring for it, had a switch installed, but then put nothing there aside from a cover. The lighting here is horrible and uses these pieces of shit
Plus horrible non led bulbs everywhere didn’t help with light or the electric bill. I removed the frosting on the bedroom fan and wired in another bulb socket. It is rated for 60w so adding a socket with an added 10w led bulb is safe
It has been an ongoing battle to get decent lighting in here since I mainly have to wait until I find stuff on amazon vine to be able to get them. (I review shit and then only pay the tax value on the items. So a good 80% discount) I will have to borrow a ladder once I find a good light for my work space. I can’t stack stuff high and stable enough to reach it.
I am clearly not against making changes here to make it livable. I’m just hesistant to add things high up that they might consider a negative. Adding value is usually fine so if I want to I can leave the living room light up but a big workshop-esque lighting panel in the dinning room would need to be removed. Aka: I’ll need to borrow a ladder to remove it and put the old piece if shit back up
