And user benchmark is the worst place to get your info. It’s the PC equivalent of Infowars.

What the heck is infowars and why do you think userbenchmark is bad

my 2nd pc with 1080TI and 8th gen i5 runs on medium just fine… my gf has put like 30 hours in

although I’ve heard very mixed reviews regarding the game’s performance. 2 PCs with identical specs may very well have completely different performance

edit: you played since the patch released today? supposed to address performance issues/bugs

Infowars, Alex Jones

A quick Google search about user benchmark should answer that for you.

I have the same processor haha i5 8600k - watching the performance in game it seems pure gpu bottle neck to me

On full low it’s great, super smooth almost - 0 stutters.

mmm I was playing until 1:15am last night, so I guess not? There was a 300mb update the other day that seemed to make it a good deal better

I started playing on the 7th

I’ve put in about 12hr of gameplay

meh - regardless. the 1080 was not built for 1440p gaming and my computer is 7 years old, I want to upgrade and be able to play on ultra again

this is hard to achieve no matter what your specs are right now, so count yourself lucky haha

i have a 30gb update downloading rn

with my 3080TI and 10th gen i9 i still can’t run the game on ultra settings, and even high has some choppiness but I’ve gotten used to it

i will sell u a 2080ti, so i can build a new pc with 7900xtx

but shipping is so not worth it

I’m probably being hopeful for ultra, but high looks miles better than low, especially with shadows and harsh lighting

I have a deal for 375 for one locally to hold me over until I upgrade to this

Later this year

yeah agreed… i launched the game in the beginning with ultra settings and raytracing and everything, and it was laggy asf… beautiful tho

time for 4090ti :joy:

1500 dollars later

I actually haven’t looked yet, has anyone gotten smooth ultra performance on 4k? or 1440p for that matter

lmao honestly i wouldnt even have a 3080TI if my uncle didn’t gift it to me

my money is for esk8 parts

i think the 4090ti is gonna hit 1700 mark, given how nvidia likes to fuck over people :weary:

i’ve been with nvidia since i remember, guess its time to switch

same, but i still gotta game sometimes and i aint’gonna settle for 30fps on 1440p :joy:

I’ve been perfectly happy with my PC until now, I’ve skipped 3 generations of gpu, and now 4 generations of cpu

It’s not only for gaming either, when I re build, my editing workflow will be so much smoother and easier, I have to use proxy files for all timeline editing because my computer can’t scrub 4k footage without stalling

honestly that’s a valid reason to get a new overkill pc build, gotta futureproof is somewhat amirite

Yeah depending on what the wife allows it’ll be either 12700k or 13900k with a 3080ti and 64gb of ram

This PC lasted 7 years, I want this next one to last about the same amount

Just don’t go liquid cooling, I gave it 2 try over the years. None of them last more than 2.5 years, even tho my pc cycle is rough 3 years, they don’t seem to last as long as u probably would hope for

I have a corsair H110i on mine and it’s still keeping my cpu cool to this day

Bruh, how

The last cpu liquid cooling I had was from cooler master, the pump just gave up after running 2.5 years non stop :joy:
