honestly i think it could happen, as long as someone figure out how to send the exact same atoms through that distance and also retain information of its molecular structure.
or maybe it exist a way without taking the item down to atom level and just send the whole things as is to destination, we just havenāt advance enough to understand those physics yet

I apologize, no urgency for response. Just some interesting ideas. I was thinking of a mechanical portal not sure if that makes any sense. Something generated by extreme desnisties or lack there of, light refractions/distortions, things of this nature.

Itās fully playable but only on all low. Maybe you arenāt realizing how old the 1080 is (this is before RTX & ray tracing existed)
1440p was BARELY coming out then. Itās asking a TON of this card to manage this brand new game at even medium. I can play it on medium but itās choppy

Have you tried a bit of overclocking? Iāve gotten reasonable gains on my current 980ti that really helped with bringing up the framerate even without bumping up the voltage, and those gens werenāt so crazy power hungry like the current gens are so thereās a fair bit of headroom.
Well itās a founders edition and is already hitting 85C so probably not
IDK, mineās the reference card too and the stock fan curve doesnāt even turn on the fans until 80C. Changing that dropped it by like 10C lol. However it does also sound like a mini vacuum cleaner.
Yeah I was using afterburner to put the fans at 80% flow constant and it still stays at 85 while playing lol
might work, but probably still need more new physics to support / make it work

I run a 1080ti myself, so I sorta know how it runs. 
Though I canāt say anything about performance in HL, cause I wonāt drop 70ā¬ on a game lmao.
Iāll get it for 20ā¬ with all DLCs in a few years.

Oh right, yeah unfortunately 1xxx doesnāt have that native support. FSR2 doesnāt compare to native dlss
Itās about as good as my 1080, if you can find one for a good deal itāll play probs 90% of what youād want at good settings, especially on 1080p

Well - idk what to tell you, userbenchmark says my 1080 should be a lot better than your 3050ti - what settings are you running?
It also depends on what you consider playable, 0 stutter and frame drops (basically 60fps vsync) is what I consider playable.
I ācouldā play in high settings if I didnāt mind 30fps with drops into the 20ās
