Why does is matter how far the axle is from the mounting holes if the force strain is the same?
youāre using āwheelbaseā wrong
Closer to the center of the board = more wheelbite.
Iām talking about wheelbase. Tkpās give you a longer effective wheelbase than rkpās.
What are you talking about?

yeah looks like mounting is useless ._.
Longboarders have a different definition for wheelbase. Itās based on the deck mount holes, and not the axles like most vehicles.
This is so bad, itās not even bad anymore ā itās comical. ![]()
Good to know - Iāll use āeffective wheelbaseā next time
handheld seems much better but more work
Hot take: (Not directed at you)
No one cares about your ride video if you canāt offer something special.
No one will watch your 15 minute long video of you swinging around your gopro or 360 camera with countless edits and angle changes if all we see is the board or the ground.
its not public, my friend on discord wanted to watch me stream skating lol
Hence my disclaimer
i just had to think about it again after i read your comments about recording rides.
Few days ago i saw this gemā¦

Yup, just wasted 1.32 mins on nothing lmao!!
Iāve got another good one from facebook.
It gets worse the longer you watch, or at least until a certain point.
at 30 seconds is peak trash content.
wtf lmao
Pure garbage, hate the filters and definitely the kalidascope one!!!
No. Wheelbite comes from loose bushings and big wheels. Everything else that plays into it is way to variable. There are alot of boards that donāt care about rkp or tkp in space terms.
Lots of decks have serious wheelbite issues with RKP but not with DKP ā the Rayne Demonseed is just one of many having this issue with >100mm wheels.
Thereās plenty of boards out there with wheelbite issues for eskate.
If you want to run stiff trucks and small wheels, have fun with that.
āWheelbase offsetā is a very real thing and can make or break a build plan. Not just wheelbite is affected by it, but motor to enclosure clearance for forward mounted and motor to tail clearance for rear mounted. Basically, rkpās make either a bit harder to pull off without having your motors too close to the ground.
Item 2 in this article has some good information on it.
