You have me curious, but I can’t quite picture what you’re referring to. Care to make a picture/diagram?

Mind i ask where would we get such holey wheels from?

3 rides.
33 miles(53 kilometers)
Front wheels. No pulleys.
Stock bearings and spacers.

These are the replacement wheels Iwonder sent me.

Notable cracks on both front wheels.
One of the back pulleys wheels had a crack and a chip.
One of the back wheels had no noticeable issues.

I’m slightly more nervous every time I ride them :man_supervillain:

Shit, dude. That’s rough. I take it you’re getting off them completely. I really hope this Discovery core is the answer.

Yeah. These are going in the garbage where they belong.

It would be interesting if you had the lathing capabilities to cut out the crappy core and put in a CNC aluminum or plastic one.

I was thinking for an application where you want a solid axle if could be made into that as well.

Mold lines be crazy dude. @Hide what about replacing cracked wheels under warranty with the new discovery wheels?

…Maybe that is not economically possible

Your experience makes me question how “hard” I ride my board. Either I’m lucky or their manufacturing issue is getting even worse.

A replacement set getting this jacked up in 33 miles is a terrible look for iWonder.

are cloudwheels the new ruroc or is too early to say?

More and more Chinese esk8 brands hopping onto the Cloudwheels wagon, even the Exway

iWonder (pardon the pun) what all these manufacturers are going to about their pulleys. These discovery wheels are not gonna fit the already existing thousands of pulleys on the pre builts.

they come with bigger pulleys as well. Exway isn’t going to have users use the original gear ratio that’ll kill torque and battery.

I am talking about the core spokes. If they have made the spokes thicker, then abec pulleys wont fit.

Well they will sell Discovery pulleys. For them, it’s more money

Won’t be surprised if injuries start happening and law suits start to evolve. i own both original SR foamies and iWonder wheels, didn’t ride them for a very long time, still almost new cause went into A.T. setups.
