Shame on all of you for posting pictures of your cracked and broken wheel. It turns out all of your pictures were of the same wheel according to iWonder. Luckilly they figured it out.

whatā€™s the story with the enertion 100mm ā€œcrossoverā€ wheels? they look like kegel-cored versions of the mbs ā€œatā€ wheels

edit: i ask - not to praise @onloopā€™s forethought - but if these wheels are all made in the same factory, maybe they already have the designs, molds, and skills needed to crank out 120mm kegel-cored foamys

Got a set of the new one with the discovery core. Lol

To be clear. I posted others pics in here for discussionā€¦ but ya knowā€¦ they still suck.

@iKNOWaFATman
I removed you from the list of accused. :grinning:

I can post a picture again with my thumb up in front of my wheel if it can proove itā€™s a real picture. My wheel is not broken, only presenting a small crack. Iā€™m just anxious that it could broke since I stumbled upon this forum topic, not trying to damage IWonder reputation, i got mine with my Ownboard ^^ā€™

Compromised structural integrity is compromised structural integrity. Please be careful.

How certain are you itā€™s a crack btw? A lot of the cores have a mold line that is not an actual separation. A cracked core should have a bearing that is much easier to push in and remove than the other onesā€¦ Thatā€™s a good gauge. You should also see the crack line spread apart when a bearing is pushed in

I did not try to remove and re-push the bearing, but just with my nail I can feel the crack on the plastic, and itā€™s an irregular line, not a straight one

The mold line for some reason goes at an angleā€¦ I wish I could see what the mold looks like to make a line like it but no clue. All 4 of my wheels have a similar diagonal line but for sure not cracked, you can barely feel it if you scratch it with your nails

I checked again just to be sure, only one of my wheels have that smol crack ; and I can very clearly see the mold line going around the center of my core ; Iā€™m really pretty sure that that crack should not be there, but itā€™s very very small, maybe itā€™s not a problem, i do not know

Ah bummer. I wouldnā€™t ride it with an actual crack tbh. Unless you ride mildly and check it after every single ride to make sure itā€™s not spreading to the spokes. But shoot them an email they will probably send you replacement. Maybe you can ask them to send you the new beefier core

I do not ride it for the moment, i use my other board, i was considering gettin something like trampa gummies to replace my cloud wheels ā€¦ iā€™m currently reading the post, wait, there is a new beefier core ? 0o

Oh god no donā€™t get gummies, they are rock hard. Even abec 107s are better than those. Yeah thereā€™s a new clear core called discovery version. I just ordered a set. Mold shape looks modified.

The 100mm crossover wheels are absolute shit

If Boas claim 83A for their wheels, the crossovers literally feel like 100A urethane, hard as shit

Second this strongly.

so if I wonder redid a beefier core, is it that there is a problem with the precedent one or what ā€¦?

Check the thread title, my good man. This was started to discuss the possibility of an issue with the original cores of the Cloud wheels.

There was a problem for sure with the previous one. Not 100% what the fundamental problem is. Either a mold problem, material problem or both. I suspect bad mold injection and maybe a worn out mold tooā€¦ They claimed to have switched suppliers for the plastic and now a new mold that has wider spokesā€¦
