Digital Nomad… I bounce between, Santa Monica, Newport Beach, Foothill Ranch and Mammoth.

Hopefully I’ll be teaching my riding buddies in Mammoth how to assemble these.

I am so crazy hyped for this. I hope with your work and maybe your parts @powertraverse I’ll Abe able to board up a hill this winter.

Godamn this is hype. You should bring it up to the rockies and try it somewhere like Marmot or Whistler.

Considering sandboarding is a thing very related to snowboarding but with more friction, do you think you could have a powered sandboard, for flat ground? That would be an interesting test!

Sensors are finally working. Going to hunt down another vesc so we can ride two of them.

Too much surface tension. Might work with some effort.

We will bring them all over doing demos and taking orders

Cant find it in the thread, but did you land on a specific vesc model that you’re going to use yet?

@murdomeek Our first Little FOCer should be here by Friday.

Update: Bafang planetary gears. 2 More paddles.

Those torque arms are super interesting, how is the rotation handles I’m turns? Are you using ball pivots, bushings or something else?

@tech.shit on edge the arms lift the motor from the snow line.

When you lean back to tail-press they are designed to dig in and bite more.

The entire arm is a bushing, it deflects in every direction. (The energy is focused to release vertically.)

Just enough material to suspend the motor from the tail.

Update: Case complete
