M50 and oil slick huh, sounds cool
If it remains sub $2000, the pro is really a great board.
I guess now I’m allowed to talk about it. I tried one with p42a and it was easily more powerful than the hurricane. I’m curious as to how this one’s gonna perform. Brakes should be much improved over the og Zeus too.
prototype or custom? (or the secret sssshhh) ah wait, this is ownboard lol
It was a preproduction when they were deciding what cells to use. Im disappointed that they chose capacity cells.
I’m unsurprised that they decided their customers care more about range than performance though.
Or as I call them “toy cells”
Yes I know of course if you have enough of them it will be fine
rode the pre release pro as well. Not even close to the 1st gen zeus. More power, and brakes are STRONG!
are you compensating for your small pack size?
Zeus Pro
Comes with @RipTideSports pivot cups stock!
Has 2 battery options
Molicel p42A or Molicel M50A (786Wh vs 936Wh)
The m50A pack is 100$ more expensive than the p42A
also comes with riptide bushings <3
preprod one I tried was dumb powerful. Wonder if the production one will be the same/.
Website only mentions the pivot cups
BOA wheels is also in collab
OOOH yessss they decided to include the oil slick hangerss. Our preprod one has regular hangers.
Improved deck too with small double drop and concave. Nice.
Hate the oil slick though.
from what I hear, the p42a and m50a have the same esc/bms settings… m50a costs more, but it’ll sag like crazy. get the p42a version…
riptide exclusive
Discharge bms
Nice specs on the Zeus Pro. The splint angle will improve high speed stability with no effect on low speed handling (would be nice to see split angle on the Savage1 trucks)… Forged and machined baseplates should be nice and strong. The battery upgrades are nice and the option of high power vs high capacity may be beneficial. I am not a very fast rider so the m50a should be just fine. All for less than $2000 is really nice! Wonder how much shipping is.
angled risers
Shipping is free on a boat but $250 for air shipping
