its exactly 85mm. what are the ‘rails’?
Those longer holes on the hangers that allow your motor to slide in and out to adjust the tension
For 85mm you want 312mm belt. It must be either 310 or 315.
If the motor is towards the outer limit when measured buy 310, if it’s almost all the way in buy 315
I’ve done that shit like 50 times and it’s still hard for me. I do it mostly by feel and couldn’t really describe the perfect tension in numbers. It keeps getting better and better and better as you slowly tighten it, until at some point, performance drops off a cliff because it’s too tight. Knowing this point is hard to describe.
theyre 13mm, and with the current 36t wheel pulleys they’re all stretched to the max (12mm), but ill be needing them for 40T. 36T diameter are 55mm and 40T are 62mm
Well it HIGHLY depends on your specific mounts, but on enertion and Boardnamics original mounts, 275-5M works good for that.
I guess so, because ive got 295 belts and they are way too tight. on DickyHo’s
Wrap a string around it, mark it, then measure it. Then buy that size. Then find out it doesn’t fit, and buy the next size up or down. Works every time
So its 15:40 on long dicky mounts?
I’d just measure it. No risk of having useless belts you cant return.
compare to Hoyt / metro? I also want to try those belt tension system, but not sure which one is easiest to use. i fucking hate adjusting belt tension ![]()
PSSSSHT
That’s the name of game, despite efforts to avoid it.
If you don’t want that, run gears ![]()
YES, as do I
He slept with my wife and shaved my dog. Or was it the other way around?
yea man, i’ve read that many times each time im adjusting them belts, but i feel like i never have correct tension, or maybe i did it correctly but my brain tells me im wrong, so i do it again

just done it…it s305mm when the tape masure is pulled taut. how many extra mm should i add?
short dicky ho’s
I thought you said the center to center of 9cm
it’s 85mm, just measured (I dont have the AT Dicky mounts, just regular street ones)
