When taking the nut off my axle, the nut seemed locked to the axle thread and was turning the axle. It seems the axle has come out a bit and now just spins when I turn it, left turn doesn’t pull it out anymore and right turn doesn’t screw it back in.
How do I fix this? I’m using BN220 and screwed in the axle with loctite when I installed it.
Take the axle all the way out, clean the internal hanger thread with cotton swab and isopropanol, clean the bolt/axle with isopropanol, and reinstall the axle, but use epoxy as threadlocker this time. Set the hanger down and don’t touch it for 2 days.
There is a guy on reddit fixing them. He flashes the latest firmware(2.5.1) as well to prevent future rlod. Charges 150$ includes return shipping from Toronto.
Had my cousins done and its working well for a couple weeks now.
My cousins took a while, while he was figuring out the firmware update(quite the feat) and he had plenty of batteries at that point held up. He did go radio silent for about a week then came back with an update. Maybe that guy got a little impatient while he was awol for a week?
He’d be blasted all over reddit if he was being shady I would think.
The battery that I just received was one of the first he took in about 1.5 months ago.
You’re right, but he had to get into boosters lockdowned software first. Basically hes was still figuring it out. He had one battery sent back right away with another rlod after just clearing the error code and balancing. So he held up repairs till he figured out away to update firmware, which was unobtainium b4.
Kid is smart as shit, not so organised though, he forgot to charge me(I paid him).
It’s the standard mate. Trucks don’t start steering when you accelerate, double the acceleration, double the brakes, double the potential consumed energy as well (and double it again for 4wd)
Keep in mind that the more you take out of a battery at once, the less you get in total. If you exceed the rated discharge, the total power you get out of a battery drops drastically
My first guess is that you forgot to fully charge or you severely passed the discharge rating of the battery, or esc is wasting energy somewhere. Re-run detection, check battery amps (for each esc), fully charge and test again?
The one black balance wire goes to the negative side, the red wires go, in order, to all the other cells.
Basically where you connect 2 cells (+ and -) you also throw the right red wire in there. The last one should end right on the + of the last cell.
I’m an idiot. Lost my m3 wera Allen. Does someone have an obsession for wera tools and has all 3 of these and can tell me what the differences are?
I had the one with a red holder so you can use that as a base of comparison
