ESC temperature seems really reliable. I turned it off and on again and it claims to be about 83 Fahrenheit which would be right.
The motor temperatures though are crazy high.
But even when I ride the board, it’ll go up to 15 miles an hour (should go much faster) for the first 100yards then suddenly won’t go over 1.5mph
What do I need and what do I need to know to replace the thermal pad on a focbox? please save me from hours of overanalyzing and searching the internet. thanks.
I wish to transplant one into an already mounted case that’s difficult to unbolt and remove in it’s current situation.
I think i do want to get new ones. that seems to be the thing on the net. don’t reuse thermal pads. I don’t know what part to order. and what process to follow yet.
but also open to any other focbox mucking experience. as this is the first time i’ve ever popped one open. and the first time i’ve seen a thermal pad.
i don’t think this type of bearing exist, if it does, its not standard bearing that u can buy everywhere. the closest bearing would be 6001 bearing, but its 12 ID.
Has anybody tested real life performance of MR60 connectors? Like, I see in the datasheet that it is rated 30A/500VAC(actually VDC) (per pin?). Yet the pins look small, most likely max 3.5mm. Wonder if it could handle 6396 motors being fed close to their max current (4kW)? 6396s come with 5.5mm bullets originally.
