(speed / amps) or your gonna need a metr to do that (cant be bothered opening enclosure to install metr)

Any think this will work on the trampa nrf dongle?

Can I get some pictures of phase wires and how you guys route them into the enclosures of your DIY boards? This will help me a ton.

One very popular and robust method is to drill six holes (three for each side) in the end of your enclosure (the vertical wall pointing towards the back of the motors), and epoxy in some female bullet connectors. 5.5mm is a good size.
Amass MR60 or MT60 connectors are also good, but they aren’t round, so making nice holes is harder.

By doing it this way, you keep the enclosure sealed against dirt and moisture, but still are able to disconnect the motors if needed.

Obviously if you’re using sensors, you’ll have to do a similar passthrough with your sensor cables too.

So my caliber ll trucks has a weird gouge or crack on it. Not an expert at trucks, only decks. Is this still good to use or should I replace it? Had these for a few years and I haven’t taken them out of the box

That looks like an imperfection from the casting process. It’s probably fine.

Your link does mention “…and cause locally weak areas in the molded part.” I think a lot depends on the actual stress put on that defect. Personally, I probably wouldn’t ride it. Or if I did I would make sure I tested it a lot before going fast enough to pay a huge price if it failed.

Did you ever find an answer to this? Mine seems to be doing this fairly consistently and now that I’ve got a robogotchi in it it beeps at me all the time so I’m just noticing it now.

Same as you it seems to be when it’s been on and idle too long. As far as I know it’s never done it during use, just sitting idle

No, not really. I to be honest didn’t bother as it didn’t get in my way. So far it still happens only when it sits in idle and shuts down.

Is there a good tutorial for VESC tools for a mountainboard anywhere?

That looks really clean

That’s usually where the steel axle pokes through the casting since the bushing seat nearly intersects with the centerline there. It’s more visible on some truck designs than others, but it’s normal.

I use cable glands and pass the whole umbilical through at once. Not as waterproof as other solutions as the inside of the umbilical may have some gaps internally, but the least amount of work and does a decent job against ingress as the glands themselves are waterproof.

If you are referring to the actual programing part, the only thing that will be different from the tutorials you have already seen is things like the amps. Nothing in the UI or actual steps change.

My 60d+ does the same thing. Not every time or even a majority of times. I think it’s common and is a non issue.

Alright good to know. Wasn’t sure if it was normal or not or it could effect the performance

I did mount it to the board to test it, (a few days ago when I found out the board flexes) but I did jump on the bolts where that truck is, seems solid. With caliber ll trucks I guess from casting its normal. I did email the company too and see what they have to say

What size cable glands are those? I might check home depot on my way home.
