Newbee helical 4GS gear drive!

I swap between TB110 or 105mm rubber for smooth pavement, 150mm airless and 6" pneumies for regular commuting and 200mm knobbies for offroad

Yeah. I guess I don’t experiment with different tires all that much on the same board.

I was making reference to you doing wheel reviews :slightly_smiling_face:

What gears can do that?

With godawful gear ratios, sure.

Wonder if these drives having tightness on one side are always the same side and it depends on the direction of the axial force

Oooh - yes, that is true but I do those all on my street board with the same exact drive setup for consistency

Thank you for not putting music over the sounds of the machine.

it might look bad on paper but I still get completely usable and even arguably good performance with 150mm. terrible performance with 200mm and absolutely godly performance with small wheels.

it’s not ideal, but 2.78:1 isn’t that bad.

Yeah i run 2.3 on 111s, so 2.78 on 150s probs wouldn’t be too bad. Just gotta max out your motor amps

It can definitely beat most 12s esk8s I’ve rode with in a drag race.

Needs high amps for good torque but even at 30 battery amps it reaches 60kph in a few seconds.

You have an esk8 for ants?

I’ve got a full raw run coming out this week with more footage

The 20*20mm clamp for the new 3DS truck will available next week.:+1:

Edited, brain fart lol

Motor amps = low speed torque
Battery amps = high speed torque

Yeah, while this thread has been seriously detailed, FWIW I’m running 70 motor 30 battery and getting comparable performance to something like a meepo hurricane but a bit higher top speed.
