Time will tell how durable our 4gs is✌️, it was meant for the heavy usage.
By the way, Zac Petterson got set of 4GS too, he will bring it to the local pump track🤙.

Same thing happened to me - I am working on the video edit for these haha
Freshly installed.
Pretty good free roll.
Left and right feels about the same.
Got my 4GS today. What kind of grease is recommended for these? Red ‘n tacky?
Idk, I used white lithium, newbee used ptfe in the video
I was wondering about white lithium since the gears are all plastic except for the motor gear.
It seems to be working decently well but it has started to seep out of the case since it’s thinner than redntacky
Never use any grease with mineral content in plastic gears, they will crack and break over time and you will faceplant
The research I did was that POM was okay with White Lithium
Could be wrong though… half the sites said ok the other half said no. On the other hand it was the only thing I could get my hands on the day of
Whats the deal with the 3dservisas noise dampening grease? Got some with my eco drives and it was good stuff! Not sure what exactly it is but the eco uses pom as well. This might be good for these drives.
Dunno, heard claims its great stuff so I imagine it would also work here
3DS uses Molykote G-67 I believe, which is impossible to find in the US it seems
As a person who had 4 of their drives 6 monthes ago. I had a couple extra tubs of if. Didn’t take very much to put in the 4g. Seem fine to me. Not much seemed to seap thru yet. I’ll probably crack open the board when I get it back from a local homie to inspect.
Not a single 3Ds geardrive uses POM anything, gears are machined out of Nyloil
Ok. My mistake. The information is not readily available. In either case. Good lube for plastic.
Edit: fine
I think the stuff they use is a specific grade of clear lithium grease it’s hard to find right now tho, there is somesort of shortage
Interesting. Maybe its time for an esk8 specific grease.

Does redntacky fall into this category or is it safe for pom?
You have to look at each individual grease and what they use
I’m not sure you can generalize and say every white lithium grease is fully synthetic
Hmmm okay - what do you think about this one
It specifically specifies metal to metal and plastic to metal
As far as I could tell on the TDS it seems good
