Not recently, but I have ordered 4 times from Agnius in the past and it reaches me on the east coast in less than a week.
COVID fucked up all the carriers. Its a nightmare. I have one shipping lost(over 50 days) some in unknown stage.
Probably it could be a tip on wiring to some, dont know if its applicable on skateboards. On my bikes and heavy stuff i wire in relay, could be reed relay. Take positive of the battery and negative of the bms p- for relay coil. You can wire in ignition switch inline as well then i wire controller ignition(most of the time its connected to battery+ to engage controller. This way if any cell goes bellow set safe UVP limit it disengages relay and disconnects ignition and shuts everything off.
This is because motor controller does not see individual cell voltages but rather whole pack voltage. In some cases a cell group could be above others and another below safe limit.
E.G. on 10S UVP is set to 2.8v per cell so 28V and 8 cells would sit at 2.8v one at 3.6v and you have low cell at 2V. Controller would not see that but the pack voltage would be OK. Relay would help in this situation
@JoeyZ5 Iām in the exact same situationā¦
Just waiting for the nese hardwareā¦ @Agniusm do you offer any other types of shipping? Dhl express?
If so Iāll reorder my order with dhl shipping, @JoeyZ5 if youāre in the us im sure we can get both orders shipped together and then reship once state sideā¦ I really need those tabsā¦
Mine has already been āSent abroadā so I think its too late at this point to canel I got to just wait it outā¦ I have a feeling that āSent abroadā just means sitting in a warehouse because they are so backed up. @Agniusm have you had any orders shipped to the US recently that arrived? If so how long did it take?
I was thinking of just strapping a car battery to my board to get some riding in
Its been like 3 weeks without riding and I canāt take it anymore, I took a lap around the block but pushing with 8 inch pnuemies just isnāt funā¦
I didnāt mean canceling your existing order. Iāll reorder my order and have it shipped dhl Express is what I was saying.
So you mean like buying another set on top of what you already ordered? So in the end receiving two sets?
Yes thatās exactly what I mean. Whatever it takes to get it here faster
I ordered an extra p group on April 20th and it arrived May 22nd in San Diego. First time I ordered a full kit pre-covid it only took about 2 weeks to arrive. I was impressed it only took a month this most recent time given the state of things right now
Im at exactly a month since ive ordered, hopefully itāll show up tomorrow!
Hopefully!
That last p group I was waiting on was the only thing holding up my build until I decided to fiberglass and re skin my deck the day it showed
I doubt that carriers will be any better. Most of the time it sits at US customs so i think they are overwhelmed in these times.
Also carriers like UPS, Fedex, DHL would charge more than what you pay for your hardware and shipping combined. Lowest quote i got was like 150Eur. I cant imagine someone being in such a need to pay that much
Ive been getting dhl Express packages from Lithuania and China in 3 days, Cost is between 30-45 euro. Iāve been paying more for shipping than the parts cost. Im ok with that because Iām not waiting months on end to finish a build. Can you get a real quote with Dhl Express for me please? At this point I really need those bus bars.
Could make a WTB thread and get someone who already has them in the US to send you some.
Could you PM me your name(or order #) to trace your order as i cant link nicknames to real ones ?
EDIT: Florida?
Still get high quote:
Any good alternatives to M3 rod for mounting long sections of modules? Seems hard to find up here in Canada. Nothing thin enough at the hardware stores, M3 rods off Amazon takes months to arrive.
Have you considered using 3M VHB tape?
Thanks to NESE, a bad cell in one of my p groups was easily swapped out. Works great!
How did you find out which cell is causing issues?
The dead cell was at around 3.6v and the rest were at 4.15v. When I tested it, it wouldnāt take a charge and also put out no current when discharging.
