You know, I think you can get chips preprogrammed from some suppliers, so that actually may still be an option lol
We program all STM chip before make assemble.
No, you are correct. There is this thing called the “Device Firmware Update” that no one seems to want to use!
Vesc tool has no support for STM32 native DFU.
From factory is ok. But need to enable DFU by short pin on PCB. Then can flash use STM tool. But for mass production is better for flash before SMT or making jig for flash.
I was planning on connecting a DIP switch to the boot pin, and then using the USB DFU, as the connector for that will be populated for normal operation anyway.
But first choice will always be having the distributor, such as digikey, preprogram the chips for me.
Jeff, do you have pictures of the dual v6 pcb?
Not yet. We make 6 layer pcb design to make small as can. I share when ready.
Ah, my mistake
any idea when these are ready to buy?
We no say vesc anywhere. Is call neoBOX. Just source code as original.
Holy shit Jeff just silenced Frank… Is there anything he can’t do? Good flipping show!
I’m buying 10 neoBoxes
Buy me one while your at it. Thanks
I agree with that.
Jeff in his factory like
does this mean you will stop posting at all to help limit the spam?
Im so surprised you have made 10 posts without threatening anyone with legal action way to go frank!! I do hope you stop the spam now and leave Jeff to work on a real OpenSource project
This is the test I need! I add the ttl to that list and my Flipsky can’t handle it. Can’t wait to see how you do!
Would you like to see FOC or BLDC?
At this point no one answer had toppled the other so I guess I’ll do both
If you’d like I’ll send you the results specifically though, so you don’t miss it
