We ride 40+, for 25+ miles every weekend, nobody has killed a unity yet. They’re pretty fucking great
I’ve got a pair of the superfoc 6.8s sandwiched between giant aluminum heatsinks so its not a fair test but if I had to go into production with them i’d probably hit somebody up for a custom heatsink to protrude through my enclosure.
LOL i’m still not there yet personally. 30 is my max atm. This year though after I get my new witchblade design polished up i’m going to try and max my board out at 35. 145s on 1:4 on 190s says 35 but I think jake topped it out at 34. I keep my trucks way loose because I ride like a mosquito. I may try to find a slightly smaller wheel pully for the bergmeister rims too and get a little more. I have way more torque than i’d ever need at the moment, which is fun but I have to keep it in slow mode to stay on the deck lol
@longhairedoldman
Just teasing! Every speed/style/stoke is cool! Around 33mph I start to get real nervous.
finaly a motor that butts butts on a fatboy 230.
Or you can wait for someone on this forum to get buyer’s remorse xD.
Ive got (2) 6380 on a tb218 no prob. Loving those motors
Anyone ran the bkb 6354 and the tb 6355. Any major difference between the 2?
Yo. I don’t know if this has been asked before but
Has anyone here successfully ran flipsky 6384 motors without battle hardening them!? If so how do they hold up!?
I have a set but I’m debating whether I wanna do it or nah due to the Painful cleaning process
Any feedback will be highly appreciated
Thank yous
Silly question: What’s the longest available 63 or 50mm motor?
I know of the Maytech 6396, and there’s the unobtainable Arcboards 5095 motor. Wondering if there’s anything even longer I can get for a single-drive build.
63100 from APS?
What’s more painful, cleaning motors or paying for new ones?
Sounds like you already know the answer
personally I’d battle harden
Hahah. Good point!! I’m soooo lazy thou
Are APS any good though?
That Flipsky motor is amazing though; shame it’s so darn expensive
This is affordable though
Edit: It’s an inrunner though; would that be a problem for a skateboard?
