I’m on 8S currently (25mph) currently, pretty sure I won’t push the limits of 12S anytime soon. Plus, I’m only going 12S when I buy a BMS and get my new enclosure done.
For now you are safe
I can get rid of a backpack really quick if a fire starts, and I can build in better fire protection, even active protection if I wanted to.
right enough, quick eject in emergency is pretty valuable
As much as I can, I try and design for failure i.e. when something goes wrong that it doesn’t fail spectacularly or results in undue injury.
FWIW I love the Ironman suit idea just as much as you do.
thats more like it! can imagine that looking cool with some VESC driven LEDs
@glyphiks the other side before cleaning the lube out. Thankfully it doesn’t have the same damage.
and here I was thinking you were just going at it straight up no vas
I’ve been told they’re self lubricating.
Thats not what she said
Is your pinion a different width than your spur?
Pinion is a tiny bit narrower, but the edges along the width are profiled anyway vs. the spur being straight 90 degrees.
I always thought the pinion was the little one
The angle of the photo is deceiving. The small one looks like it sits a good amount higher than the big one.
Pretty sure the helical ones are exactly the same width, it’s been a long time since I had mine open tho
It is the little one, and it does sit a tad higher in the photo, because I popped the spur back in for a photo without the backing washer.
I see. You have tricked me with your trickery.
I forgot to get back to you the other day, I’m not ready for any more etoxx stuff just yet, my bank account is a little unhappy with me right now
Ask me.
Understood. Exchange bank account for wife and you’ll know where I’m at.
Oh I know that feeling all too well. That’s why we live in seperate houses and why I have to do sneaky missions to Healesville to pick up ‘parts’ (more boards that I don’t need)
Although by now she’s learnt that stupidity knows no budget.
