Got everything working fine for the most part with slave VESC, still won’t work with master for some reason. One other thing too though @rpasichnyk, my battery reading seems to be off and always lower than it should be when I start off fully charged. I’ve confirmed with battery meter, x-matic, and the light being green on the charger that I am at full capacity, but yet when I turn my board on and check meter one time it started at 82-84 (it bounces a lil) another time it started at 91-92%, never at 100% though and it fucks with my head when Im on longer rides and check it… LMK
Check in Metr app, Settings -> Battery. Maybe you have 10S and it should be 12S?
@rpasichnyk, I am having issues with one of my three metr pro modules. I updated all 3 modules can only detect 2 of them with the app after switching boards. I deleted the metr app and reinstalled from play store and the app defaulted to the problem module and let me connect to it. If I switch to either of the other 2 modules, however, the app can no longer discover the first module anymore… Did that process twice with same results. All modules are updated to newest firmware and the problem one is the only module with the external antenna. Any thoughts/advice welcome?
Power down all other boards, try again, if not discovered, go to Settings -> Show Logs -> send to support@metr.at
Iam thinking about getting a metr module. Is there a way to protect the connection with a password so at big events people could not make shit and change my settings? Maybe thats not even possible but I was just thinking
It’s protected by a password by default. Encrypted connection too.
ouhh nicee
Mine doesn’t work since day one and after a while trying to get it to work Roman just stopped replying to my emails
Alrighty then I sent you the logs, it was still not finding the one particular module
My apple watch seems only update ONCE when record starts. Basically the values on apple watch doesn’t change. Values on phone seem correct. Anyone else uses apple watch?
Thank you, I found a bug in the log file and working on a fix v3.8.31 (will soon come to App Store). @CiscoV this update should also help you. Also this is not fair to accuse me, I am really trying to help you solve the issue. But it takes time and you often forget to attach the log file and I don’t always have time to remind you
You should always attach a log file in every mail!
@esk8 I will have a look at Apple watch, thanks
Haha… Of course I forgot to attach files. It’s always gotta be user’s error. Why not!. It’s all good Roman. We’ll wait for the update and let’s hope that fixes the issue I’m having
Thank you brother. Looking forward to seeing this thing work like it’s supposed to
Recently got your module. Works good so far. 2 questions. My Motor temperature stays at 0° even though they are sensored (@torqueboards 6374 Motors. Do they even have temp sensors?)
Is there a reason for it?
Question 2. I customized the layout tiles and added a few. Is there a way to get the Names for it on screen too and not only the values?
How old is your Torque motor? Until recently they had the wrong pin out for temperature sensing, Dexter said they would fix in the future versions @torqueboards
If you really want temperature it’s pretty easy to open the motor and put another sensor wires correctly
its the december/january batch. but i had to send them in for repair. I guess its still the wrong pin.
Current version still has the wrong sensors. Upcoming batch will have the correct temp sensors.
@Pedrodemio damn, thats the value i cared about.
Is there a way that I can see the difference in the record list between 2 modules/boards?
I’ve got a Unity that I’d like to add a Metr Pro to. I know there is a Unity specific module available, but I like the idea of the external antenna due to my carbon fiber enclosure and poor connectivity with the stock bluetooth.
It’s not blatantly obvious that the non Unity module with external antenna is compatible with the Unity, so my question is simple: is it?
Thanks
