Metr Pro Updates

Nobody’s forcing anyone, and I don’t see them becoming any less sought after. The man @rpasichnyk does good work, and many happily pay for that and great support.

@rpasichnyk is it possible to make the graph show combined battery amps? I was confused for a while why “25A” would cause such voltage sag. Then after analyzing the graph I realized there’re two currents. Adding them together falsifies my panic.

@Murloc992 @fessyfoo That took me a while to implement, but I hope you will be happy with the results.

It will be possible to see combined AND individual values (currents, temperatures). By default combined values will be displayed to make everything cleaner, but you will be able to turn off combining and see more details

Is it still possible that the vesc sends trash data?

Just looked at a record from earlier today with 1100 Wh/km

EDIT : I think i know what caused it. I was standing still and reaaally slowly started pushing the throttle but the board didn’t move. Once i stopped and went a bit faster on acceleration it started driving.

This is awesome. Are we ever likely to see similar features for 4wd setups?

I think it has already been implemented. In my logs below there are 4 different lines for each motor. Feel free to let me know if that’s wrong tho.

Yes, up to 4 VESCs / 4 motors for battery current, motor current, mosfet temperature and motor temperature. Pushing to Play Store today @sesat

I am probably missing something, but when trying to upload my records from iPhone, I get an error saying “Cannot GET /r/”

What am I doing wront?

Thanks

I see that as well.

as a workaround. you can get to view records from the metr.at website directly. if it didn’t upload you can use the upload all feature.

A temporary bug (has been fixed, but still on review in App Store)

When you have “Upload Location” disabled.

You can either enable “Upload location” or
wait until update passes review or
use Accounts -> Sync

Edit: app update is live, should be resolved now @EreTroN

Just a asthetic question. Is the logo supposed to look like this?

also, how are the widgets things doing, have you looked into it?

what i also noticed is that the “read only” toggle sometimes disappeares. Restarting the app fixes it.

and i still have the ghost metr module.

Read only :

Ghost module :

I get this too :point_up_2:t4: I wonder if it only does it when you have multiple boards on the app.

I just made it possible to remove saved modules, do it on your ghosts :ghost:

Awesome! While we are at it. You might look at my log first. The current version (4.2.6) seemed to be somewhat unstable (i know it because i just updated the app today from 4.1.24) . I had 2 crashes mid ride. Much like previous bugs where the app just closes itself and refuses to open again.

This could happen because Android decided to free up memory for other apps / save battery. Not visible in the log file (usually). If you keep getting it consistently, check crash report / adb logcat
