Would be the only sensible thing since thereās amps already.
Yeah watts, in the realtime it has it but I think itās only for one side and itās not recorded
Need some assistance. Apologies if this is already answered. I searched first but didnāt see anything.
Iām using a metr pro unity. Everything seems to be working fine except motor temp is always 0Ā°
Temp wire disconnected?
I can double check, but I donāt think itās the case. Both motors show 0. They are BKB 6384 190kv
Do you get temp readings in VESCtool?
These are rebranded Flipsky motors and should have temp sensors.
Might have fucked up calibration settings? Check both motors and maybe one is fine, otherwise do a firmware reupload to reset everything ESC side and reset the METR settings and then set the board up again
I redid motor detection wizard in vesc tool. One came up as hall sensor and one came up as sensorless. Is that the issue? It also says false for temp comp

Yup thatās it, it means your wires are damaged
Itās showing default detection values, meaning itās just not displaying them at all. Check under motor cfg ā FOC. It may have picked up sensors.
It does appear under the FOC menu. Does that mean the sensors are ok? It is a drop down menu, so would I be able to select āhall sensorā if the sensors were not working properly?
Just had my second motorās hall sensors fail on me mid-ride the other night; really appreciate the ability to reprogram via my metr to VSS so I could keep riding!

What motors and vescs?
Could you tell me what you think is the quickest & easiest/most straightforward way to setup a unity is? Wirelessly being a huge plus.
I just canāt get over how damn quick & easy the android app was. I feel like Metr has so much unnecessary noise when you just want a quick & on the fly over the air configurationā¦
Use your bluetooth device of choice and set up the unity with the Vesc tool Mobile app (assuming you are running Vesc FW)
Or use your metr to connect your pc via tcp and zse the desktop tool.

VESC tool mobile doesnāt have a nice charted graph for tweaking throttle curves to my knowledge, also know of some people having weird anomalies w/the app in generalā¦ I do know it can set deadband for reverse which is something Iāve been wanting for a bit.
Will fully look into it sometime I guess. I just like my nice dumb 5 year old/monkey could use unity android app. Just a pain now that I run an iPhone as a daily.
Iāve never used a laptop/desktop to program an esk8. Sounds like something a boomer would do 
Maytech 6396 motors, just replaced my old flipsky dual FSESC 6.6 Pro with a MakerX Go-Foc D60
Motors were used and abused for years, including riding on the beach through sea water; suspect the second motorās halls failed due to either the oil I used in my gearbox making itās way into the motor cavity and shorting something, or ā¦just time and abuse. Unsure, no longer care. May disassemble the motors to confirm in a few days.

For what itās worth Iāve had to use a laptop on occasion when the cell app was buggy over the years.
