Mercedes OEM L09-1 EV Battery is pretty cool.

Of course @longhairedboy title em up

Haven’t got this angle yet:

!
This part seems super press fit on this way, I also did not want this part to come off.

My idea at the moment is to get a dremel and cut the copper bars and hope it just pops out after that. It may be glued down as well with the thermal adhesive and actually that’s seems highly likely.

Crimped together bus bar elements or soldered? Hard to tell.
I was only looking at the standoffs before.

Laser welded perhaps?
Yea, Dremel sounds like the best idea.

Was about to finally go watch again after I had tried my best. Little bit of confidence in yourself goes a long way. Usually not the best advice with batteries but there you go

If my confidence ever falls a little short a 3lb sledge usually finishes things up nicely.

I have been waiting for a thread like this. I’ve been looking at those batteries since the original thread popped up. Glad y’all are pioneering this kinda diy. Way above my pay grade😂

Anyone figure out the coolant lines yet??? I’m losing my mind over here trying to puzzle through that one!

Your build is looking good btw! Grats on getting the ESC into the DCDC box!

what about them? what size tubing to use and stuff?

Thanks I need to come up with a concrete plan for the two modules I got.

Yep! I’ve been trying to find the correct adapter that would click onto those fittings. No luck! Worried about hose clamps and flexible hose.
