First ride today, after taking the wheels apart and looking around. Very interesting.
As far as ride feel goes, it’s pretty good. The deck feels excellent.

Looking at the meepo owners facebook group. The customers there are furious with their boards. Everything from the voyager to the hurricane, they’re reporting that their boards randomly just wont turn on after a few months of owning them. I assume it maybe a bms issue but from ur description of the 40T cells it could be the whole pack.
On top of that, they’re fumming over the lack of customer service. They would email and email and email them and either get no response or the first email would ask for a video and then ghost. I’m curious if this issue of customer service is temporary and related to the release of the ultra. And as pointed out, will the 40T cells knock them down?!

its probably due to the high delta in the pack, so the bms refuse to provide power to the esc

their bms doesn’t have balance function, there is no fix for it unless they redesign the pack to fit with a bms that do balancing
i’d say just leave them be, most prebuilt pev battery pack bms doesn’t have balancing function, that’s standard in the industry. its dum, but it is what it is

The longevity thing is troublesome, I’ve had to fix a couple of Hurricane batteries. The cells were fine, but the BMS was toast.
It can be replaced, and then modified for direct discharge, but that’s something an experienced battery builder would have to do.
I’m working on a video for just such a fix, but I’ve been delayed. I’m always delayed.
