Will be interestin to see how popular Meepo’s gear drive is with the average esk8er, I’d be very interested in the long term reviews

I personally like the hurricane even though I’ve never ridden one. :wink:

Me too. I am reluctant to be part of the first generation of guinea pigs.

Great video!
Meepo just made a massive statement towards that other brand it resembles.
If they would change their remotes like osra did and tweak their esc then i wonder what the competition would do . Lets not forget the price its hard beating that for what you get.

i would seriously consider a bamboo hurricane if their remote had programmable acceleration and breaking percentages like the tynee explorer.

That would be a nice feature to see. I always wanted a power level between 3 and 4. Braking has not been an issue for me. No. 3 is perfect.

getting on this late but I think that diy fix would be the difference between buying this board or not especially at the current prices for people on the fence.

Are the wide Meepo tubeless tires available by themselves?

Seems like currently they only are sold with the Cyclone Tubeless hubs…

How else would you run it though? Seems like the bead is especially designed for their hubs. @Skyart

Yeah it seems the whole system hub+tire is designed to work together and with nothing else on the market

I’ve heard you can run the tire on other wheels but I haven’t tried it

I’m guessing with a tube?

Ya I think a normal 6x2 tube (mboards for example) would fit

@Skyart

Im a bit late to this party but what are the wheels youre comparing the tubeless to? Solids by chance?

If so… to where do i look for them?
