Yes sir. The longer king pin and associated lock-nut links are below.
400mm should be fine in your case since those come with 50mm axles, and the original prototipo had a similar axle length. It just depends on your drivetrain.
I only recommended the 420mm because they come stock with 70mm axles which include a 20mm axle spacer expands compatibility with various drive trains out on the market. But since the prototypo used a 50mm axle. The new 400mm Matrix III CNC trucks (which also have 50mm axles) should work fine for you.
I love you so much for only charging a dollar for this.
Oh, did I mention shipping and handling is $99?
On another note, i’m going to order one of these and try it with the singularity bushings (rear truck). They give you so much lean, I found that the back is just too responsive.
I’m also really glad you guys make this. The nuts embedded in the baseplate make it difficult to use 3d printed risers
I had one of the most fun rides of my life today.
It was an unusual set up made possible by
@MBS matrix III
@RipTideSports Singularity
@fujio001 MAD V1
Thanks to @Soflo for the footy.
And taking me out on a awesome day full of rides.
So now I can do nose scrapes with the Lacroix.
I’m rocking 96A/C here and life is good!!!
I suppose I need to work on my deck slides…
So low.
So playful.
I suggest all you kids jump on the MAD wheeled Mountain Board Bandwagon!!!
Running a split set up is definitely the way to go!
Damn, that looks so fun!
This is really cool…
@rafaelinmissouri man what a day! I didn’t get back to Springfield until almost midnight. Hitting the road now back home. Thank you so much for the hospitality! You have some really cool spots, and ride that thane like a wild man!
More action on the MAD wheels.
There isnt really a proper thread for this, but the 200x70 explorer tires are fantastic. I measured them at about 192mm true diameter. Stiff sidewalls make them rough, but they spin super concentrically on old rockstar 2 pro xl. I used some m4x55 bolts to initially help clamp them, then m4x50 (stock bolts) afterwards.
I’m excited to put the 15 degree riser on my rear truck and get 35/10 angles, hopefully that helps tame the singularities.
Same experience for me. Superb balance on these tires.
@MBS recommended running super low psi (try 10) to make the ride more comfortable.
I have had them for a now. And I really love them.
So meaty.
I think somehow the girth makes up for them
nnot being nine inches, and it’s still a very good ride off road!!!
Installed the -15 riser. Unfortunately it’s so fat that it obstructs my poorly made wire holes. I also took the liberty of installing my ball hitch. Just in time for the rain
Just went to 25/15 and c/d setup on the dark wine singularities. Started raining as soon as i finished so gonna do some more tests when it’s dry. The b/c on 30/15 was too divey - too much articulation in the front so it was feeling twitchy over 20mph still. Getting closer
Jail.
lol my original 35/25 was crazy. The 35/10 feels a little dead, you can really feel the rear doing nothing. I’m sure this setup would be crazy stable, but I think 35/15 would feel much better. I also lost a bit of my turning radius this way. I may go softer on the back to see if it livens it up
I might hit up brad for a c/d in a lower duro because i feel a symmetrical rebound with asymmetrical angles might do the trick. Counter intuitively i want to do the d in the rear at a lower duro at the low angle but stiffer c or d in the front to limit the articulation if this c/d 25/15 setup still feels twitchy. Some sun this afternoon im gonna do my neighborhood loop
