I’ve always use 6374 since the beginning cause 6355 always gets too hot for me but I’ve never tried anything bigger

6396 I can get to 100c no problem.
TB6380 run much cooler, mine never got above 80c

edit:
unless you need really low KV, there’s not much else besides the 140KV 6396
otherwise, go for TB6380, they are not too pricey, hold up really well and move enough air to not melt.

63100s in 140kV easy

no sensors =(
and sealed too

Sealed cans run hotter than open ones, for sure.

I’ve been rocking some 120kv 6384 china cans for a while and have been really happy with them. Took them out in the 90 degree heat yesterday and got them real hot, still strong.

The stator is like 7mm shorter than the TB6380 (so like ~4 shorter than a APS or FS 6384) so I wouldn’t expect it to perform as well, but I’m definitely not complaining for $50 landed for a sensored 638X can.

Maytech need to rename their shit. 6374s are the same thing. Around 5-7mm of hard nipple

Both nope if you order them from Saite.
They will come with open can and with sensores

what whaaaat, that’s interesting. do you have a link? don’t see a 63100 on their page

Check Alibaba.com for 63100. They should pop up just right in one of the top listings. Can’t link Alibaba.com from the phone out of a reason I do not understand :joy:

Resistance: 0.35Ohm

Not sure if they missed a zero or the resistance is stupid high on those

Love my FS 6384 cans. I picked mine up last Sept for $95 a piece, which makes biting the $140 bullet for TB6380s a hard sell.

:stuck_out_tongue:@Anubis :stuck_out_tongue: after you wrap up the FS 6374 GB, you wanna run one on 6384s and the new 75/200 (v)esc? Should be able to get a pretty hefty discount on the esc, and I think anything under $100 landed for the '84s would be dope.

They are pretty close in price to the Alibaba ones, encoders or HFI?

No 8mm shaft apart from 6384 APSv2 or TB

They had a sale for Father’s Day. That’s hoe much I got mines for

FS 6384 comes in 8mm shaft.

Yeah, they are on sale pretty often for close to $80, get a couple or some other things and it’s under $100 shipped. I guess the question for FS is…

how low… can you go…?

They’re the same as Tb except for the battle hardening deal. I mean. They’re good motors. We just hate “flipsky”

Sky being the last thing you see as you flip off the board as it breaks without warning, it’s all in the name.

Probably.

That could happen with almost any and every mechanical piece out there! Not necessarily just flipsky crap :man_shrugging:t2:
