Would bigger batteries be able to fit inside the closure? (Iām new to the esk8 world)
Iām looking to do this same build as well.
Waiting for Kaly deck to become available, and Iām hoping Tim is able to customize it for me.
The Hypertruckās will be available at the end of this week I was told, so Iām hoping to get those ordered when they are.
Iāve been doing a ton of reading on this site, trying to learn as much as possible. I originally wanted gear drives with the Kaly trucks and barrels instead of springs. But I decided to go with Hypertruckā¦ your write-up and build convinced me. I did ask Lacroix if any gear drives would fit on their trucks too lol.

You can fit a 12S9P of 21700 batteries which would give you about 30% more storage capacity.

Thanks!! If I go with the 12s9p 21700 batteries, would I have to have the esc on the back of the deck like the XL50? Thatās the one thing I am trying to avoid.

A 12S9P will fit in the first 3 enclosure segments leaving the 4th for the ESCs + BMS. The XL50 uses all 4 for batteries, hence the ESC being top mounted.
