lol… yea i saw those pictures.

A 12S9P will fit in the first 3 enclosure segments leaving the 4th for the ESCs + BMS. The XL50 uses all 4 for batteries, hence the ESC being top mounted.
Thank you!
Those 100Ss just wanna sing @DerelictRobot, why you restraining them like that on a 12S build Now they gonna be mad and lockup on you

Because somebody needed my 140kv motors.
Wonder who that was Alex?
So cruel. Jerk.
It’s that damn @Deodand again. If only he didn’t create so much cool stuff, he wouldn’t need to try it
You’re just lucky that you’re both exceedingly handsome individuals.
Me tooooo, whats that beautiful deck you have with that single drove though, an old hummie deck?
not really sure. Just ended up in my hands

PS: you’re not going to easily mount geardrives on Hypertrucks without a 5-axis CNC. The mounting profile is very complex, so cost is going to be prohibitive.
JB Weld. Get it close, stick toothpicks in the gaps, and slather it up
This is very close to my dream build. but do the other Portland hipsters make fun of you not riding a one wheel.

Usually all they say is something like: “Hey w-” before they’re outside of earshot because OneWheels go 18mph.
Did you ever have a problem with running your balance cables in a bundle? I have a DieBieMS and it’s hard to run these cables without crossing from the WR-MPC3 connector.
No, but I very deliberately went with a thick (18ga) silicone cable and used soft/velcro wrap instead of zip ties + created a foam channel to run them down.
thx, I think I’ll do the same.
I’ve found that what works best for me is actually just turning all my battery problems into @BenjaminF’s battery problems.
You know…that’s a great idea
Might run a strip of foam underneath the bundle and/or between those terminal posts.
Worst case is a short on the balance wires, in which case it will act like a quick fuse. So long as you dont have a discharge BMS that will cut output if it loses a p-group reading, it should be a pretty minimal repair. Neutral cure silicone can help keep stuff in place and create insulation as well.
thx…that helps a lot.
Badass. Before I bought my Lacroix it was so hard to decide against Kaly nyc but you’ve combined the best of the best. How much did this build cost you my guy?? Are you over top speeds and more interested in torque these days as to why you’re “going to be experiencing w/ lower kvs”? The pics are sickening bro!
