Looking to get a prebuilt usa

bad range. verreal is having a great deal and i may jump on that

Boosted extended got me 14 miles, plus they’re a USA company so getting service and warranty coverage is easy.
For the Chinese boards. They’re all around 12-14 miles range going at moderate speeds, but they’re warranty is ass.

Spec wise and price, BKB is probably best for you. His vesc is already pre-setup. Deck has inserts installed, so all you have todo is really put the parts together.

Came to say this, was ninja’d.

Their single-drive option has plenty of power.

You can send your own deck if you ask in advance.

Your kits are the bomb, but missing the “prebuilt” part of the equation.

Would not go Verreal for now. Brand is slowing down and not really keeping up with their rivals.

I doubt $1.5k is enough for an LHB or Psychotiller board, but buying a used one would be a good option probably.

If you have only a 5 mile round-trip commute though, I’d suggest a short kicktail commuter board. Look at the Blue One

I would reccomend this https://www.meepoboard.com/collections/electric-skateboards/products/awd-pro or this https://www.meepoboard.com/collections/electric-skateboards/products/meepo-v3?variant=28384203047006
They both have a huge amount of torque i have a v3 on the way and i highly recommend meepo great customer service quality product low price

are you sure? There rs looks very good. Has quite nice specs too. https://verrealboards.com/products/verreal-rs-electric-skateboard-street-version?variant=29788175925293

This is the one i was reccomended by the official discord of r/electricskateboards. Currently I can afford to pay around 700-800$. I was planning on waiting but this board checks all my boxes. If you have another belt driven board that checks the boxes this one does-tell me. And soon. Im impatient lol. I’m planning to buy this on sunday/saturday unless plans change.

At that price, I stand corrected.

okay. Great! I’ll carry on with my plan then. Only bad thing I see is a stiff deck. But i’ll survive. Never ridden a flex deck so ill be fine

Since it’s a pre-order, might be good to drop them an email first and see if they’re on track.

alright. I’ll email them right now. They say on their store that it is expected to take 7-14 days to arrive but i’ll message to make sure

I had the same concerns with the Exway Pro deck, but didn’t turn out to be an issue.

okay, glad to hear it.

yeah that thing looks okay I guess!
I do not understand why they slap on 6368 motors and a 10s4p battery when the speed controller will be the major bottleneck. not sure about the bms either (as the added 50 dollars for the 30Q battery over 20r Is soo worth it.) that might be an issue if you intend to upgrade the esc to a vesc later on. the bms might be the limiting the output. And personally I’m not a fan of dkp trucks.

But as a starting platform this thing looks very promising. As long as the rest of the components prove to be reliable. You could always just trash the esc for something better, and swap out to a discharge only besttech D140 bms or something else if necessary. but to get higher topspeed you would also have to change the gearing.
And my guess is that you need to be somewhat handy and fiddle around with the board to get it working like you want to. But It might be a fun starting point to ease you way into building some shit, not sure if I would take that route though.

650$ worth every penny.

Hummie deck + enclosure ~ 150$

Get ur inspiration over here.

Focbox Unity 300$
or

flipsky 6.6. Get a remote VX1 or VX2 ~ 300

U maybe can get 21700 Samsung 30T cells baypass BMS. Or 40T for more range. Many god battery builders in this community.

I know this is more a “DIY” build. Buut it’s simple stuff really it’s plug and play. Programming via Bluetooth app is simple for the average Joe.

We’re ur location btw.

honestly you rarely regret throwing out that extra cash for the premium stuff. can’t say the same for the cheap stuff.

And you have good resale value, China parts as a whole (unless new) don’t resell for much
