They say is it a 100DX
Iām running a stormcore 100d on fw 6.02. Many people say fw 5.03 is the safest version, but Iāve driven 300km on 6.02 and havenāt had any issues yet. Should I downgrade back to 5.03?
Donāt change the firmware if it works. No matter what version it has.
Is the power measurement on rt data calculated for each separate vesc? Or is it total power of both vescs? (Stormcore 60D)
Just one vesc. It you switch to the slave via can you will see diff values
Iāve just bought a used Lacroix NazarĆ© SUPERSPORT for parts. I had planned on replacing the Stormcore 100D for a MakerX D100S that I already have but is there any point or need?
The Stormcore already looks so perty where it is
i really like my stormcores i have not had any issues so far. i am not racing though so maybe it depends on how you use them
That page is cumulative data from all canbus devices. If you go a page up, thatās local only

100d v1 can live long happy lives if you are ok with running motors at 80a.
Makerx ESCs will make you rage quit esk8 if you donāt have much experience in vesc tool.
On second thought, theyāll make you rage quit regardless of how much experience you have in vesc tool. They do inexplicably infuriating bullshit.
Important to note, the ESC in his pic is the 100D2, not the 100D (see the āIIā below the Stormcore logo). No clue if thatās more or less reliable than the 100D, just something to be aware of cus its easy to miss.

I bought an orgional Stormcore 100D right when it came out, but sadly it decided to blow up. It was truly great before it blew up though lol.
On the other had I also bought an older Makerx, and on the other hand I can confirm that this is true.
For some reason the throttle would get stuck on 100% frequently, which isnāt idealā¦
This definitely sounds like an issue with your remote and not an issue with the ESC
Thats what I thought too, but it worked perfectly fine with the Stormcore. I also monitored the ADC input on vesc tool while troubleshooting, and the ADC input correctly responded to the movement on the throttle, but the motors were stuck on for about 10 seconds. Itās super weird.
Also, any reason the sentinel wouldnāt work with another vesc ?
