just out of interest how are you loading this? do you have a huge motor or are you using some kind of artificial load?

I believe open loop means the controller has no feedback from the system (as opposed to closed loop). so not load dependent, and just sending the specified current.

yes but you still need something to put that current into that is not going to overheat. I think if i put that much current into my motors for that long they would cook so im trying to find a way of running these tests without cooking hardware.

This is FOC openloop so it drives the motors in a very inefficient way that doesn’t produce torque but produces a good simulated load. Professional video as always Charles haha.
