We digress, @Arch how’s the selection process coming along, will we know by the end of the week or maybe later?
I don’t think I said anything about dropouts. I said something like it remains to be seen. I Just paid $1.5k usd for a review unit cause the company wouldn’t send a review unit over even though my policy is to return all review units, so we will see how it performs real world.
My apologies, my memory clearly failed me in this instance.
nah it’s all good I didn’t mean to come off like i was ribbing on you or anything, I’m pretty excited to see how these etrucks perform real world
dude your title…
Well this has gone eerily quiet!
I agree. The developers must be pretty busy sending out stormcore test units to the testers maybe
We got our heads down doing some final touches
I’ve been moving stuff to be ready for this.
Take yall time, I personally rather it done right with no rush than possibly have something missed amidst getting it pushed too soon.
Very this! I have yet to fall off a board that suddenly decided to break on me at 30 mph! Would love to keep it that way
They seem to have indirectly made a scooter.
Looks pretty cool!
So I was right about the Rion then. Awesome!
but one is per motor, and the other per motor pair, right? If so, sounds pretty similar
Oh i see how that could be confusing, funny coincidence haha
Test setup:
Unity
2 motors @80A each
Time to throttle: 90secs
Og fb
1 motor @80A
Time to throttle: 45secs
So if i would extrapolate the test and use 2 og fb with 2 motors and run 80A through time, the time to throttle would still be 45 secs
I thought you were referring to battery current, my bad
I was under the impression most ESC ratings are on the battery current numbers.
Yeah Motor currents
using the foc_openloop command in the terminal
What would those be in battery current levels?
Pretty low, since i’m running at a set erpm (3000 erpm) i didnt take notice of the batt current, i’de have to check my videos again
