If this set of waves is over, maybe we have seen the high water mark.
Excuse the ignorance but can you not just force customers to waive their rights to sue? I know Lacroix had something similar saying you accept all risks of injury/ death/ property damage when you buy a board. IIRC they said your case was “dead in the water”.
So this is a bad time to ask him to make an Artem Voloshanovskiy grill?(pretty sure that’s not how you spell his last name but I’m using voice to text and any attempt I made with my fingers would be worse, so apologies in advance.)
Gross negligence doesn’t free you from liability. No matter what is written in a user agreement. These arent legally binding in anyway.
Also what a lot of people don’t realize none of these “agreements” mean anything till your in a court room. At that point when you are a small business trying to fight a lawsuit/legal battle it could be over. That is the exact situation that happened to Kaly.
I’m bummed for the employees, holidays are coming. I hope everyone lands on their feet. Personally inflation has me eating a lot more pb&j sandwich’s than I’d like
The objective is and always has been to ship every order placed and honor the warranties. However we want to be clear; we don’t know when nor if that will happen. For now, we don’t have any precise timeline for the completion and shipment of the pending orders.
I really hope they complete this objective.
I wouldn’t bet on it. If I had an order with them I’d be contacting my credit card for a chargeback immediately.
yeah, not betting. but they seem like good people. and i hate seeing customers get the shaft. so guess damnit, i’m betting a little hopium.
I think it has less to do with them being good people but more to do with Canadian bankruptcy law.(if they actually filed for bankruptcy?) Once you file, anything attached to the business you basically lose ownership. I have zero clue about the Canadian system it could be vastly different. But in the US It goes into possession of a bankruptcy court and they basically sell off assets or allow creditors to take possession for payment. Thats very gross over simplification but you get the point. Its very likely their inventory, new order purchases, including warranty repairs are now in limbo and could be owned by creditors/ a bank or whomever now is the owner.
Puck is ok but leaves a lot to be desired. They need to update it with a screen and hall sensors/ ditch the potentiometer.
I suspect it will get a refresh someday in the future to get at least some of those things
The next genius, diversification product for e skate companies is detachable out, runner motors that convert into magic bullet blenders for mid ride margaritas.
Motors getting too hot? It’s not a bug, it’s a feature, it’s time for a margarita break, which doubles as a cooling stop . On hot days you get lit.
Yeah I’m a little kid upstairs. I amuse myself
no need to make them detachable, just clip the assembly on the drivetrain. Could even make them in motion.
I have heard… rumors of some things
I hear rumors of a Hoyt puck with a wireless HUD and a mind control throttle
Its also gonna have a built in hover function to protect from drops, kinda like that razor mouse.
I hear rumors the next puck still won’t have a trigger version and so will be wholly irrelevant to lots of folks.
But even if it did, the trigger version would probably be an afterthought modification designed to check a box for marketing, and not designed as a first-class product with a second-to-none user experience.
Hopefully, I am very, very wrong.

Thats one way to prop up the most overrated remote in history.
Any other remote with the same fatal flaw would be crucified by the community.
Their attitude about it says a lot ![]()
