So, with just a regular flatpack you would be able to fit 54 cells, or 18S3P, with fewer cells 10S5P or 12S4P, which is the default pack it ships with
Now, if you get creative with a 3D printed bracket that staggers the cells and specially if using a bit thicker foam, 96 cells should be possible
On top of that, if you manage to make your electronics really compact, like a Trampa HD60T or something that is as small, you could fit another 16 cells on the fourth pocket for 112 cells (12S9P, 10S11P or 18S6P), need to play a bit to see which ones makes the less of a pain to build a pack
If any of you guys get your hands on one and want to go that way, let me know and I can see If I can come with a bracket or at least a jig to glue the cells in a way it fits
Lacroix will sell you the deck and enclosure for their other decks for around $800 total.
Expensive but worth it IMO. The flex is pure magic. Given that the barrel is a single flex level, I suspect it is a bit stiffer than the rest of their line.
Yeah sorry homie, but he lost a ton of credibility showing that he doesn’t understand how stance on Carver/MTB decks works + thinking valve stems have some balancing aspect. He might consider learning the board before rushing out a ‘review’. He also carves like an ass mallard, cringey af.
There was a lot of fluff and not anything that would leave me to believe this guy is someone with an objective opinion & valid experience to back it.
This smells of the classic ‘lets shit on this thing for likes’ move. If anything this review showed me why this guy’s opinion isn’t worth listening to.
