Yeah, lol, I started with one aswell…its to flexy for me now
where did you steal them from
I’m still contemplating weather to keep my first chineese diykit DIY board as a learner board for friends. It still works but is a bit clunky and starting torque is quite unpredictable.
Odd, I have experienced both, the old LingYi which was going at same acceleration and speed as hobbywing is now, and new one that is on my current chineese beater. Both of them failry reliable.
On remote side of things, before I take a ride, I allways let remote go through 4 diodes state, and do quick connection test by tapping throttle few times to check for lag. Theres been instances when if I don’t do that, remote gets laggy for some reason. Otherwise it is a perfectly safe setup. Have fallen 0 times, only had couple of bail outs due to opposing cyclist unabling to choose side.
Just wanted to be sure it’s the one I have.
I have 8 lingyi escs, all crap.
4 Hobbywing never a problem
Go figure.
you go figure, i have 3 lingyis, 2 of them over a year old and abused and still work like day 1
Ok, enjoy the cutouts, sounds like fun.
You won’t get through, don’t bother
never had any so far, i even forgot a soldering iron on one of the esc and it still works
I’ve read good things about the latest liying esc also.
Where are you located?
southern California
Did you get a look at the 42v to 12v buck down converter pcb connected to the esc? Its for the leds
I dare you to post some pics of it.
Go figure, bat batch maybe. Mine from DIYEboard runs well. The random cutouts where esc became totally unresponsive did happen now and then in very noisy areas, but restart did help. However I do consider myself pretty lucky by buying from DIYE board in first place.
Also, holy smokes, how does one buy 6 cheap chineese ESC’s one after another without upgrading to VESC or any other alternatives, sounds pretty crazy to me knowing that lingYi costs 1 VESC’s price? I’m not trying to mock you, just trying to understand your situation. While lingYi served me good I would not buy another, too shady and electronically limiting for me.
EDIT: maybe you ran high discharge battery without antispark and that killed them?
The manufacturer sent these to me after 1 didn’t function correctly. Then when the problems continued, they kept sending me escs, all fuckd
What… But I love my working Enertion Hubs <33333
In all fairness tried mepoo hubs for the first time and compared to belt it’s impressive but then i use my other hubs… and then mepoo’s look like shit.
But it’s all reletive to what you already know.
Meepo hubs are solid replaceable and reasonably priced. and pretty torquy if i forget about enertion hubs.
They have a bit more torque then meepo hubs.
They also have a bit more chance to have exploding urethane after you heat em up.
But that’s problems for the summertime.
Ofcouse it stopped working, you wired a phantom kohmingulator to a friggin power supply. That thing is supposed to be hooked to your esc and sensor wires.
it was originally wired to the esc, the esc isnt in the picture because i use it inside another board
For some. ive solved the issues. - There’s a shitton more torque than meepos, I mean they dont compare
