It was always good for myself and my friends, I don’t know man, they replaced parts for me, fixed things, and had pretty fast response when I had to deal with it.
Well its good that you and probably most people have had a good experience. I think that’s how most of his previous interactions went but the 3 times I had to do it it was always pretty bad. Idk maybe I just got unlucky, you never know
Who knows…
I do think that we should be here to discuss alternatives though and not have ANOTHER useless vendor bashing thread.
Yeah exactly, we should be trying to find our own solutions rather than beating a dead horse
Maybe Jack will consider changing the title.
Anyways here are options that we know of:
Beastboard wheels: overhyped and not great from what I’ve heard
Onsra Wheels: Bad wh/mile? Wear quickly? not sure.
Cloudwheels: Not as grippy as one might think and nowhere near the same as thane
Boa: Who even knows?
Momentum wheels: best up and coming option, albeit without very much riding feedback yet, wish they had a 120, but he said he will consider it for future.
Riptide wheels: up and coming, no real information
There must be more, right?
Good idea. Title changed
you know, someone can always make 130+mm thane if they perfect their craft.
BAHHAHA…
Tired of the crying…
Gee… I wonder why I left…
What a fantastic response
He has been summoned
OH FUCK I SUMMONED HIM
Dude your wheels are amazing pls dont stop making them in black
Apparently at that diameter on Kegel cores delamination is very likely
That, weight, cost of pouring that much, defects. I’m not a pro or anything but this is what I’ve surmized
It would be interesting to see the introduction of a new type of core that extends further into the wheel to prevent delam
Yeah I’ve heard this too, even seen a tb110 get delam here. Tb110 uses a authentic core right? Someone could like… Not use an authentic one
OMG it’s him
Tired of your shit Dex
Plz SEND
UP ONLY
…
How many PM’s and @'s did you have?
So its another tuesday?
Assuming you see this:
Any plans on how to deal with the core delamination issues quite a few people have been having with your 72A wheels? Maybe switch back to 74A?
Maybe he switched to 72A because the 74A were delaminating more?
BTW, my 72A are delaminating
So are mine. I was told that it was the first time TB had seen a delamination.
