I’m curious about your enclosure, I know it will be a double-stack carbon enclosure

Another board this time built by @Kvothe

One more thing

I was asked about the clearance with the enclosure made by @eboosted

I measured with 2 types of brackets and trucks:

  1. 35 degree brackets, IDEA RKP trucks and 110 diameter wheels, the clearance under the board is about 50mm.

  1. #4 brackets, classic RKP trucks (TORQUE 220 CNC) and 110 diameter wheels, the clearance is about 55mm

The first kits are already being sent to customers

Tomorrow I will write more about the kit from the above picture and prices

I start selling RKP trucks complete with brackets, for those interested, some technical information

1. TRUCK
RKP truck hangers are of Caliber 2 standard.
The width of the front hanger is 300 mm
The width of the rear hanger is 270mm.
This is the width of the hanger without the axle

Axles are 10mm thick, front axles are 37mm (+/-1mm) long, rear axles are 57 (+/-1mm) long.

On request, I can replace the axles with longer ones so that wider hubs can be mounted.

I used 10mm thick axles so that I could mount any wheels, both longboard wheels standard mounted on 8mm axles, as well as moutainboard hubs mounted on 12mm axles.

Urethane or AT wheels (Evovle, Meepo, Exway, etc.) should be fitted with 61900 2RS bearings (measuring 22x10x6mm).

Moutainboard hubs such as MBS, etc. should be fitted with 16100 2RS bearings (measuring 28x10x8mm).

The profile of the hanger is 20x20mm, the chamfer is about 1.5mm.

2. BRACKETS
Brackets inclined at 35 degrees with an unusual baseplate mounting system.

Baseplates allow the angle to change from 50 to 35 degrees in 5 degree increments

Bushings - Durometer : 95A, additionally adds for the first few buyers orange bushings - Durometer 92A

Pivot Cups RipTide - Durometer : 96A
Typ : Bear Grizzly 5.01 lub nowszy i Precision

3. MOTOR MOUNTS
Motor mounts with idlers and change of angle every 11.25 degrees
The clamp is 2-piece

The mount allows mounting of 16/66 or smaller ratios.

Belt length HTD5M for gear ratios:
15/60 - 400mm
15/72 - 420mm

If you use other ratios, ask and I will check the needed belt length

4. DECK
The description is at the beginning of the topic but I will remind you:

Deck has dimensions 733-260
Tub concave depth about 15mm

The wood core, vertically laminated, the edges are sealed with urethane.
Additionally reinforced with fiberglass and carbon on both sides.
The outer layer is a protective film.

ENCLOSURE:
Currently, the only enclosure available is manufactured by @eboosted

Perhaps @guy and @glyphiks will make their enclosures

I do not broker the sale, enclosures you order directly from Alan

They will be different from eboosted, if they will be available for sale I will publish information about it here

From the parts described you can build this board

Now that’s the most important thing, prices

  • Deck: $170
  • 2x 35 degree brackets for RKP and PKP truck: $170
  • RKP Trucks (front + rear + 2x baseplate): $270
  • Motor mounts (1 set for 2 motors) : $110

If you want to buy an additional set of 4 axes the price is $30

Prices for EU customers are higher by 23% tax

The shipping cost depends on location

BTW:
I was asked about the gear drive.
I don’t sell one, but theoretically a 3dservisas gear drive should fit because one of the trucks also has a 20x20mm profile.

Unfortunately I abandoned my attempt to make a mold for this.

I understand, you have other priorities

Dang, well if you change your mind or know anyone else who’s making them, im interested haha.

I also reduced the pressure since Alan making the best enclosers and he also have great prices.
I will make my own encloser but not for sell this point.

How firm are you on the not for sale part haha. If youre making an enclosure with a bit more space than eboosted id want it :joy:

I feel like a European source for enclosures would be beneficial to this excellent design set.

I did manage to break one of the ABS enclosures on a Trampa before…too much flex for it to handle

Fact, Alan’s (@eboosted) enclosures look good and are a great fit

I seriously love the look of all this stuff.
So awesome.
I wish I could build a set up using all this tomorrow…

No problem.

I have designed 2 kinds of hangers for baseplate SR TKP, I still have the last 2 sets in stock

1 set is hangers and brackets for Hub type motors with a quadrant axle, such as Meepo, Wowgo etc.

Hangers and brackets are anodized clear, champagne color

The second type are hangers for classic motors with motor mounts.

Hangers and brackets are black anodized, motor mounts are black

So if you want you can build such a board

Photos of the set before black anodizing

Whats the largest drop bracket you have right now? Looking for something with quite a bit of drop for a new build plan haha.

The deepest and longest I have made looks like this

Comparison with standard brackets

Oooh! What do you think would put me lower – drop through on those deep brackets you just showed, or adjustable baseplates in drop through with the 35 degree brackets for mountainboard trucks?
