Can you guess what the color sceme is based off of? Im thinking of making a build tread (or whatever its called) when I put the board back together.

Its the based of the space shuttle

I’m still waiting a longer belt so I can get better clearance.

Looks killer - nice work yo!

Do you think it would be possible to run 120mm cloudwheels on this set-up or should I get 105mm instead?

Remove the roadside bushings. How far is the wheel from the deck at full lean? Add that to the wheel diameter currently on there, and that should be close to that maximum size you can accomidate.

I have a few questions. First my DD TB 75kv motors have 16 awg phase wires, what amps should I set vesc to? I got the flipsky 75100 alum, what kind of amps can that handle?

Also I was reading over some of the older stuff on this post and it is makes me cringe at some of the stuff I said. I sincerely want to thank everyone for all the amazing help you guys have been giving me. Truly couldn’t have done this without you guys.

i run 40a on tbdd75. but i use different vesc. you could incremental the value

You could set up to 100 phase amps or maybe more. As long as things don’t get too hot it’s fine. The vesc has temp sensors and maybe the motors do.

Thanks, so what battery amp amd motor amp should I set it to?

You can set motor amps to whatever and set battery amps to what your battery can put out

ya nah

i wouldn’t trust the TBDD past like… 60 hard maybe 70A

idk what the battery spec is, so i can’t say what a good value would be

If the motor starts to saturate it will cog. I’ve only gotten this to happen with a motor wound much lower kv. I always set motor amps on the little hub motors I sold to 100 phase amps or more and are a similar kv to the TB but with smaller stator.
I’d set the motor amps as high as you can and enjoy it

I’ve sold/made over 300 hub motors that are smaller with about the same kv. I know you can put them to at least 100 phase amps before will saturate and cog. Do u have any knowledge/experience that shows otherwise?

what you make is not equal to what other people make

not only that, i’ve seen your build techniques/build quality, so yes, i have knowledge that says otherwise
