I wonder how they pour them and missed my chance to see when they were in southern Cali.
The wheel is symmetrical/flip able.
I wouldn’t mind the wheels as much if they’d gotten the tire right. A shame and wish before they’d finally gotten to pouring they’d sent me what it would be. But looking in my mail to them all I find is the right design. And they’d gotten it right last time and this is just 1cm longer. The same in every other way
Dude, I could have sworn I asked you whether they would send you samples for QC before you gave them green light for full production. You said they would not. This really sucks they gave you wheels with a bunch of bubbles.
the wheels arent bad but their screwing up the prototype tire is a total goof on their part. im sure theyre running through a year of my writing to them and searching every attachment from me hoping to find this screwed up prototype design but its not there.
@Fosterqc the flange wont go on. if i were to make some printed spacer it would also have to be a flange as well. and really i need to get the right parts instead of whipping up some contraption to make it usable.
i think they’ll be reasonable and give me some of the bucks back for the wheels. and they better do a new prototype soon!!! take forever over there.
if you want me to send you wheels @MYKC (two sets) and @b264 (a set) i can. or wait till the motors are ready to go out but once again thats going to be more time. message me your addresses.
+++just talked to them and they want to get back to me on thursday but so far they are apologetic and taking responsibility for the screw up. so a delay…could be worse.
Surface bubbles in my experience are more of a cosmetic issue than structural when it comes to chunking. A crack propagates a tear or a chunk far more than a nice radiused bubble.
Hey John, is there any chance I could purchase a set or two of the defective bubble filled wheels? I want to try out some super wide wheels on a regular board.
Yea! 50$ a set. Or 40$ a set of the worst ones I can find with bubbles on the edge. These in the pic are likely them or close. Plus I think 15$ USA shipping Usps priority…or maybe I should look into ups? @DEEIF
I’m still waiting for the enclosures to be done before I add the boards/boxes and wheels to my site but if anyone wants some of these wheels in the meantime I’ll do 55$ including shipping to anywhere continental USA if u PayPal friends and fam HumminaShadeeba@gmail.com
!!!add ur name and address on PayPal and what your name is here!!!
Will be sent in the priority padded envelope
These are the centrax just grey with no logo and half the price. You can’t even get centrax these days except eBay for 109$ excluding shipping.
I don’t know if abec11 is gone or if these wheels will be made by him again. heard Chris chaput has some health problems.
But motors! They admit the screwed up tires were their mistake are going to do them again. I just asked when they should be done this time. After the last epic amount of time taken and their admitting they’d put me on the back burner it should go better this time.
Maybe im confused but these are front Centerax wheels or the Hub Sleeves - hoping the later (either way what are the dimensions inner/outter?) - Hope you do get the QC you are aiming for eventually
Don’t know what ur asking but I got regular centrax, which are fine really, and the motor tires, which are not fine.
I haven’t gotten them up on my site for sale yet but will send them in continental USA for 60$ including shipping
