For the sake of comparison
Ah im outside Us, but interested in 2 pairs of each wheel
Hangers he says he’ll be casting January and he’s all set up with a new place and mill. Sorry its taking over a year longer than the plan.
For the wheels if ur outside USA because of the variation in shipping price you’ll have to send me 100$ and I’ll refund you the remaining after shipping. 50$ for the wheels. Friends and fam please

@KfromtheBay wonder how the rolling resistances compare. I’m betting with their diameter, length, and great rebound pu that they’ll out-roll maybe anything.
motors go brrr?
Yep, c’mon John. Time to focus and get these done.
@hummieee
Was told by the hanger guy he’d be starting casting this week and Aend said they’d send the tires that fit this week.
Excellent. Pace is picking up.
They will be done for sure. I’m slow though.
@hummieee any updates?
the guy doing the hangers bailed so need to get someone else to do them. he says he’s moving houses and cant think about it now. frustrating. the tires on the other hand should be here this week. for sure ill get them to everyone this summer. sorry on the delays. i met the guy who was going to cast the hangers yesterday and got back the axles.
Couldnt he said that 6 months ago? what a douche
Maybe you need to look for someone in China.
These guys do gravity casting…
Summer!? I could have used that money to buy GameStop shares…lol ![]()
yea i was pissed on saturday night texting back and forth and he’s arguing i owe him the money i paid him for his time…although he wont finish the job till who knows when. ill be finding someone to cast these really fast and had a place in china gravity casting before and can go back to them if need to but will look for better. its just an axle in a block of aluminum with a hole and nub really so need not get too elaborate and can gravity cast them if need to.
Would you not consider getting help from a US cnc super dude like @Boardnamics ?
I reckon he’d have these turned out in a couple of weeks?
with these splined axles i think getting them cast in would be easier and safer.
and still waiting on aend to send the right tires.
Sling the splined ones in the bin and get some new ones done with a recess for a couple of grubs and stick the axles in with retaining fluid?
Haha. But the motors are broached to match the spline.
Cold worked chromoly axles are strong. All parts done except have to get these axles in hangers and wait for Aend to ship the tires and they drag me around telling me date after date
Have you wound all motors?
Nope. I procrastinate till things are coming and assured but I’m quick and this design is a lot easier to get together and I won’t be the hold up. I can wind a motor in 15 min at this point.
I love the straight answers and not Marketing Bullshit
