I am absolutely drooling. Wow this wheel color is SICK!
These Motor mounts are also super sick. Light but Beefy. Probably the Thickest mounts I have seen. Cant wait for the deck to come in!

Build is coming along nicely… Looks like your rear baseplate is on backwards, fat end should be towards the rear.

Damn she is Sexy.
Unfortunately shes too low.
The double stack enclosure takes up a lot of space. First iteration was yesterday evening.
Far position on the bolt holes. It would turn like 10 or 15 degrees before hitting the enclosure. Basically almost immediately bottoming out.
Back to the shop.
Moved trucks to the short position. Which improved it a lot but it’s still bottoming out.

Going to have to try Flipping the hangers or go to 8 inch tires.

So excited to see this board operational! Sexy photos.

That enclosure is HUGE! Not surprised you’re bottoming out. I’ve got problems on my Nazare single stack enclosure

I don’t see a way you can keep a low standing platform and a high lean angle for a good race setup while using that enclosure. changing the Trucks into short positions gives me this vibe

How does the deck flex feel now you’ve got wheels on it?

Deck feels awesome.
It has some flex but is quite a bit stiffer than the Nazzare.
So far i love it. Probably could have just done light glass top and bottom for a touch more flex, but i like the 4oz top and 6oz bottom.

Once i has the batteries it should be good with some weight in it.

As for clearance i might order a single stack enclosure from him and maybe build a small top box. Not sure if 18s4p will fit in the single stack. But maybe i can split it, or make some custom kydex top enclosure.

This is very true. Have a look at my board on 6.5" tires with a standing platform nearly at the same height as the axle. I don’t think you can make double stack work well, single stack is a compromise, top box is really what gives you the best ride feel but doesn’t look as sleek.

ive been following your build too. Looks like im gonna have to go Single stack.
The super low ride height is so sick. And the axle height to standing platform is wild. Practically perfectly in line.

Im thinking of building some kind of low kydex enclosure to run a few cells up top.

I got the same dilemmas. Double stack really sucks for clearance, nothing in single stack can hold 80+ cells except unobtanium Lacroix and top boxes are ugly :frowning:

Yep. This exactly

Im still set on the 108 cells of 18s6p. But im gonna have to do some funky stuff for a top box. I’ll try to keep it super low profile.
Going o have to research some boxes and maybe mess with a kydex enclosure.
