Herringbone Gears Avio MK2 Gear Drive

Tbh, for the speed demons, perhaps i can make adapter for an 8" or 7" wheel that uses an 8mm bearing (if anyone can point me to a compatible wheel?).

Is that something you guys might want? Or will different sized pinions be preferred?

Different size pinions would def be preferred, thatā€™s the only thing that kept me from buying your drivešŸ˜” id love to pick up this new one cuz I love the haggy trucks I have. Just need lower gearing

Actually top speed isnā€™t that impressive with 170kv. I think like 31mph? And I have excessively good torque. If youā€™re gearing down more I have to gear up more. 220kv looks a pain though, so Iā€™ll badger you for pinion

Iā€™d definitely like to keep your gears for my raceboard(s) and I donā€™t foresee myself putting anything larger than Haggy wheels on those boards so the larger pinion is an item of intrigue

Definitely pinion :ok_hand:

Guess iā€™ll be looking into the largest pinion compatible with the existing drive (:

Yessssss! What about for the original spur gear drive?

Possibly, but iā€™m not sure if anyone would even want straight cut teeth after trying the herringbone gears tbh.
