Only the Sith deal in absolutes.
Btw my proposal would be to fix the motor first. Open it up (Its not that difficult, trust me), fix the broken sensors, and detect again.
Iâve always admired the sith and not really been on the side of the jedi, also thatâs an absolute statement and is very hypocritical.
how?
and thing is, itâs detecting the hall sensors now, but the motor is hella grindy after detection
just remove the c-clip holding the shaft and then pull on the bell. Watch your fingers, those things like to snap shut with the force of a thousand suns.
What for? The Siths path leads nowhere. And an absolute statement is exactly that, a binary choice.
Iâve tried that and canât get the motor can off no mater how hard I try
Do the opposite of this:
How I assemble a BLDC motor. Starting with a stator, a rotor, three bearings, a circlip, a circlip tool, some spacers, oil, three M4x8 bolts and a wrench for them, a hammer, an 8mm shoulder bolt, a dry washcloth, a motor pulley, a motor mount plate, maybe a tiny piece of griptape/sandpaper, and maybe a skateboard wheel bearing spacer: First, I start with the stator [20200629_011846] bolt it to a mount plate [20200629_011955] grab a shoulder bolt or something else [20200629_013245] I lâŚ
It could help to fixate the upper part where you screw it to the mount. Then try again. You really gotta pull, there are some strong magnets in there.
I think those magnets are stronger than I am.
Well it should not be that hard, are you using FS motors?
yeah the BN 6384 170kv FS motors
last tiem I tried this was on Maytech 6396 190kv motors
okay, FS motors have a c-clip, a spring washer and a really slim bronce (?) shim. are you sure you got all of that off?
yeah I got that off, still wonât budge.
Mhm, maybe get someone stronger than you to help you? Or use some lever action in the gap.
If youâre trying to disassemble a motor, once you have the circlip & everything taken off screw it back onto a motor mount & use it to pull it apart.
good tip right here, that will give you mor leverage.
okay Iâm gonna have to spend the next day getting these gear drives apart
any mount will do
the only other mounts I have available are 55mm mounts from an evolve
