Hello everyone,
I recently purchased a refurbished scooter, but unfortunately, it came with a bad battery pack. I need help from someone who can build me the best possible battery pack within the compact size constraints of 475mm x 125mm x 60mm.
I’m looking for a pack that offers the best range possible. I’m open to configurations in 16s, 18s, or even more, if feasible. I have some Molicel cells P28A and can fit them just fine for this build, utilizing three layers and leaving space for a smart BMS.
Based on my calculations, I can fit around 6/7p x 7 x 3 layers, which totals approximately 108-126 cells in the 18650 size. (See pictures) However, I’m also open to using 21700 cells for the build if they offer better performance.
Here are a few questions and points where I need your advice:
1. Cell Supply: Should I order the cells myself (I’ve found some good options for Samsung 21700 40T on nkon.nl) or do you have cells available for the build?
2. Build Assurance: Since I’ve never built a battery pack before, I want to make sure it’s done correctly and efficiently. I don’t want to waste money on wasting the components and materials.
I prefer to make it build by a person that knows what they’re doing and was recommended this forum because I lost already about 700 on a pack from a famous CN platform that I never received and never been refunded.
I’ve attached pictures of the current deck and space available. Any help, advice, or offers to build this pack would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your assistance!
Best regards
