Got a spare 6k laying around?
This really gave me a good laugh
I guess you never tried a real TRAMPoline
Iām 74kg (163lbs) and love the medium Haero Bro for dirt jumping. I was riding a 16ply Holypro for about 3 years but then it was time to get more control. Since last year Bro for jumping and DWII for riding.
Awesome build! Where do you get your Motor and Wheel Pulley?
Where do you get your wheel and motor pulleys/ Did not see it on stoogeraceboards website.
Thank you! Amazon and EBay
OMG SO FLEXY
I went from MBS DW 2 to this Haero, hopefully it rides well for street jumping!
Hey guys! I know, its a Thursday, I know its been two weeks since the last update, but no I did not forget about this thread! Long story short I needed a couple days to let the events over the last two weeks settle and hit home, along with making this update interestingā¦
So lets start off with the big thing, Apple Valley Speedway - May
Thanks to the incredible people who set this up and made it all run smoothly (@BenChieffen @MoeStooge @RipTideSports ) and the many more!
First off it was great to ride and race against a lot of people I hadnāt seen in awhile (@computers @fessyfoo @Titoxd1000 @MoeStooge @RipTideSports @Arzamenable @Jansen etc)
So we got there, walked around and said hi to everyone! I started to gear up and get my stuff out of the car when Moe walked up and said he might have a spair SRB to ride. This jump started my day, and so I was super excited to maybe get the chance to ride on the SRBās!
Hopped on the track and did a LOT of laps, I drained Ground Control from 100% to 30% in an hour of riding. An estimate @MoeStooge and I had was about 15-20 laps around the track (Woopsiessss)
@fessyfoo came and was given first dibs on the SRBās! He chose the beautiful @davidbonde deck SRB build on new Mamba Xlx 2ās. Then the downhill guy arrived (Not sure on name) and chose the board built for (Daniel Engel?) which is a stock SRB V4 but shortened a TON to fit Danielās standard riding conditions when downhill riding. That left the board I wanted from the start, @370HSSV ās SRB V4 originally owned by @Tello1969 and @ahrav .
I was beyond excited to ride Leiās V4, especially because funny enough the night before him and I were talking about it and speculating on who would ride it at Apple Valley.
(Quick pic for yāall Eye Candy)
Now the weird part. Iāve actually only been on an SRB V4 3x times (Before AVS) Once the first time I ever went to an event (Back when i rode a single drive evo) again at I2S on Brandon Torgersonās board, and finally on the David Bonde setup. What made it even scarier was that I was given only one practice lap on it (technically I wasnt even meant to be given the practice lap )
Lap went well, took it slow and tried to get used to the throttle and being strapped in etc.
Qualieās! The stooge guys rode first to try and get out of the blazing hot leathers they were in. (These are the times I remember)
Mario Chacon - 1:2(3?).XX
Brandon Torgerson - 1.20.XX
DH Guy - 1.25.XX (I think)
Guy on Lacroix - 1.25.XX
DEEIF DOOOOOD - 1.26.XX
@JaysTCB - 1.27.XX
( I did not remember the rest, if Fess would like to add on feel free)
Now Iāve spent a lot of time explaining how the early morning wentā¦ and I could explain how the actual races went, but a pictures worth 1,000 words right? So a videos worth a million?
Hereās my point of View of the race!
HECK FREAKING GOD DAMN YES!!! So so so pumped, I still cant believe itā¦
I FREAKING WON
To top the day of the great guys over at @Voltaic let me try out BOTH a Bajaboard G4x AND a brand new S2!! Such an awesome experience (But scary)
Building SECTIONNNN
To make that week even better my beautiful @davidbonde NorthCamp deck made by Mr @jamie at Redemberboards arrived!
Thatās just the start of what an awesome week it was. Battery for a customer arrived from @BenjaminF and a Kaly deck from @DerelictRobot The deck just looks so so niceā¦
Motors from the motor group buy shipped as well!! Thanks again @abusfullofnuns for helping me out with the payment side of things. Along with that thank you @fessyfoo for being the first person to run DEEIF plates for 3links along with @Arzamenable for being the first person to officially receive a DEEIF product.
Raceboard?
Hey dash whereād your dumb race board go? Well after the races I begged @370HSSV to sell me the damn Stooge Raceboard!! Andddddd wellllā¦ He said no
But good news came that week AS WELL!!! Prototype ESCās for it should arrive soon along with motors!
Ground Control?
Honestlyā¦ Iām not sure how to say this. Ground Control isnāt bringing me joy anymore when I ride it. Itās not the first thing I grab when I go out to do stuff. Not even the second. The couple of times Iāve taken @fessyfoo ās Prototipo out the past couple weeks have brought me the same amount of fun as ground Control used to.
I think Iām going to put together a Street Carver build in the next month or two to replace it with the help of @BenjaminF and @DerelictRobot ās Carver knowledge.
That also means Ground Control will be up for sale soonā¦ The boards brought me so far and opened so many doors for me, but itās time I move on to something that brings me that same joy it did in the beginning. If anyoneās interested LMK before I put up a real for sale post.
Anyways, Have a great rest of your Thursday!
Now thatās a good paced race! Congrats on the win dude. Looked like a blast.
Thank you!! It was such a fun time
dibs on the NKPs!
I doubt board of the year will get parted out lol
Weāll see about that
Holy fucking shit dude! Youāre a madman, congrats on the race! Watching that video was nuts. Youāre all insane Keep up the awesome work!
I earned āmost improvedā from qualifyingā¦ ( ok not really, but i felt seriously improved. i passed @JaysTCB for a brief moment in the final race. )
nice wheels.
The wheels are super nice, you should pick up a set (And a Prototipo highly recommend)
Thanks!
Thanks Fess, I regret making the first one
