Here is Justin Yeeā€™s first ride on ground control. He hit 34mph top speed (Robogotchi approved) after riding for only 10ish minutes.

Just goes to show how easy it is to ride correctly tuned @moestooge NKP 3links

Those stooge gears are so wild haha

Also, sidenote, Youtube really did a number on your video compression, it destroyed the quality

Dammit :triumph: Lemme check out quality

Wow it really did, even on 1080p. I uploaded it through my computer, usually I go through phone. Maybe thatā€™s why?

Iā€™m not sure what goes into the Youtube compression, but if you look at my riding video in my latest one it didnā€™t get destroyed nearly as much

What format did you upload it in? I upload in MP4

MP4 as well. Dammit YouTube what the hell  is it better to upload 1080p or 4K?

I mean it depends on what youā€™re going for, it you want to present 4k content, upload in 4k, otherwise, no need.

Did you preview your video before you uploaded it?

What are you riding, that looks super cool!

Unfortunately this isnā€™t this case, upload 4k 60FPS regardless of the resolution/framerate of your video in order for youtube to compress your video with a higher bitrate, 4k/60 can have up to 85mbps while 1080/30 can only have 15mbps (Sauce). Also upload in 2k or above to have your videos rendered using VP9 instead of h264 or whatever garbage they use for lower than 2560.

yeah the only asterisk is that itā€™s probably not worth buying a new camera for if your footage already looks ok, but if you have it in 4K then send it to them to be slightly-less-ruined in 4K

This 100%

Just a little bit of it, I had it set for an auto upload at 6:30 AM today

Awesome, I definitely like to read up on that.

Hmm I guess I learned something today; if I have 4k I upload 4k but not all of my cameras are 4k yet

Hey guys! Itā€™s been a minute! Well a monthā€¦ But same difference :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Sorry for the long wait, didnā€™t want to bore you guys weekly on the zero progress going on! The progress I did have I wanted to keep quite.

I just wanted to let you guys know my buddy Mario chacon (incredible @MoeStooge team rider and great guy) has a couple videos coming out of him and I ripping it through where I live, up to one of the best 5min uphill riding spots in Southern California. We weave through traffic and you just get to see some awesome pure raw video from a great guy and an incredible rider.

Big thanks to @NullBlox for watching the premier! Hereā€™s Part 1! Enjoy guys, really awesome to be able to show you guys my favorite ride of all time. Part 2 should be coming out soon in which you get to see the awesome uphill ride! Thank you guys! Please drop a well deserved sub to my buddy Mario!

Side note @MoeStooge you should bring the SRB out next time and join us!

How are you going that fast without any more protection than just a helmeā€¦ Oh, footage is sped up. Fair enough then :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Edit: maybe not. Those quick selfie-stick swings might have confused me

I wish  It was crazy hot out, also those are Kevlar padded pants

I donā€™t believe Mario sped the footage up :face_with_monocle: Hereā€™s my Robo logs from that day!

(Robo logs is one motor, I forgot to turn dual motor logging on)

If anyone comes to SoCal Lmk and Iā€™ll take you on this ride! Itā€™s not to be missed, seriously one of the best rides in SoCal. Part 2 shows the uphill parts that are incredible!
