Same here :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: I just need money to fund these builds haha.

Still hoping to stumble across that elusive money tree on a skate someday

You know that feeling when you have to fix the gearing backlash on your drivetrain, but don’t feel like it because you won’t be able to ride this coming weekend? Yeah, that’s what I’m feeling right now.

Also… I’m really missing these lunchtime rides to go get pizza and sandwiches etc. First I feel like I left you guys hanging by suddenly stopping them, and second it’s the truth that I haven’t had the time to go skate to get lunch :sob:

@Arzamenable

These look pretty tasty for a board… Thoughts? @MoeStooge

Can you gear down 540kv? That’s moes inrunner kv, is it?

Moe’s inrunners are 800kV I believe :eyes::smirk:

For all round short or long course performance, he has it dialed in for a 2wd set up to dominate. 4wd with 4 mamba xls might be wasteful.

You are light enough that his stock set up could murder if you can actually hold on at the top end.

I was thinking more along the lines of 18-20s with these. Moe uses SSS and TPPower, I just had the thought of checking Leopard motors the other day after going back through some Etoxx threads.

They seem like they should work… 2wd Stooge setup and a 2wd high voltage setup all in one

The amp limit is low.
Gotta find a good balance of volt, Amp, Kv, and reasonable final drive ratio for the Watt application .
Any piece of equipment that bottlenecks amps will end up with failure. Heat is the enemy. If your Watt usage is 65% of your weakest component you can afford short burst Watt spikes and sustained high loading with minimal damage.

Thanks Moe, I’ll look into that some more for my setup then!

Race Update :love_you_gesture:t3:

Intro to speed was awesome as usual, the track this Sunday was super challenging but fun. It had everything in it, medium speed turns, 30-35mph straightaways, and slow technical W turns!

I had a blast and the board performed awesome, although I’ve got a feeling I should tear it down and triple check everything to Make sure.

Brandon Torgerson was a beast on the v4, passing people in the straightaway and just ripping around the track! @computers and @fessyfoo did awesome as well!

You can see how much more comfortable @computers is on the track compared to a couple weeks back, now just to get him on 3links :smiling_imp:

Can’t wait for Next Sunday!

DEEIF Boards will be there with another race update in a week!

you snaked that W turn so well. I’m impressed at how nimble the 3-links can be. I didn’t expect that of them.

They eventually took out the W cause it was too hard for some folks. :stuck_out_tongue:

confirm @computers is getting better and better at both riding and building. fun to know him.

I was surprised as well at how nimble they were!

I could see that happening, there was a good amount of wrecks happening right there. I kept overshooting the entrance to the W whenever Brandon got behind me, I tried to push the speed a little bit more and then just couldn’t brake in time

Weekly Racing Update brought to you by DEEIF (:joy: Lol)

Track was epic, I really liked it. It was medium sized, and was very surfy feeling. There was only one spot on the whole track where you had to sit on the center line of your deck for stability and that was the straightaway.

The rest of the course was a constant one edge to another but not super tight, except for the W right after the straight away. You could see where the Stooge board that Brandon was Riding shined, it could accelerate out of the W a teeny bit faster and brake later on the straightaway then most other boards.

The straightaway was very short and was 25mph avg if you pushed it and 30’s if you really wanted to risk it.

The last turn on the W Brandon shined on, you couldn’t stop him from passing you there.

That was also the most deadly corner of the track, with @computers getting tossed off (Hope you are healing up Alex!) along with a handful of other falls, close calls, and run offs.

If you took the turn to wide you hit some gravel which made you have to try an do a controlled slide.

We did a stooge lap with Mario, Brandon, and I in which we did 3 or 4x laps with Mario Leading, Brandon close behind, and me trying my hardest to keep up

I think I’m getting faster, I can keep up with Brandon better, he’s still faster for sure, but I can stay pretty close and I’m not just getting killed by him :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

@fessyfoo What the heck happened to your wheel???

All in all it was an awesome track day!

The following images are just so I can remember them… 8mm Bullet Amp Rating and Awg Wire Amp ratings

@MoeStooge These trucks are awesome and I can’t wait to get a second set. Hopefully you can make it out to the track soon, you’ve been missed!
