Basically every day I hear about a hurricane that doesnât charge anymore or doesnât turn on anymore due to an issue with the battery.

Wasnât that due to them adding semi-proprietary features like that weird inline charger circuit? As far as Iâve read the batteries have been fine but the electronics are poopoo

If you have to open the entire battery up to disable all this crap to consider it a good battery, itâs not a good battery

It gets to about 0C here in the coldest part. Biggest need is waterproofing as it rains for weeks at a time.
I just grabbed some revvit boxxer 2s.
Only had a chance to test @ 3c so far.
7Theyâre thi enough to still run a scroll wheel well.
I felt a little air coming in the seams, but I believe treating them with SnoSeal will take care of it and allow riding down to 0c.
No sliders, but padded palms. I plan to epoxy pennies to the palms for sliders.
Plan to only use them for below 50f, above that youll be sweating

I just bought and use heated glove liners but I donât know if theyâre available on Amazon anymore. They can be used either alone or you can put ski gloves or any other type of glove on top if it is big enough.
I managed to get a pair of bating gloves on top of mine but it was a tight fit and also I have size xxs glove liners which are still a little big on me. They worked best at heating when worn under something else but you can also put your hand in a pocket or long sleeve for better heating.
I rode in well bellow 0 c weather with them and often kept my left hand double gloved and then only the heated glove on the right to ensure Iâd always have full control of the remote. I believe the coldest temps I went out in would have been -12 c but the wind chill temps easily would be at -23 c which is not counting the wind when riding. Just the natural wind.
It is called having a proper winter 
Something I am missing already after only a year and a half without one.
