You should remake this with an IMU.

Pop the hood, lets see some PCB porn
The pcb is from yongitech.
But more pictures is always nice anyway😊
Hm, thats 18W of heat dissipation per fet @ 100A. Heatsink feels bit small to support continuous 100A?.. which totals to…72W on one switch cycle (when nearing full duty obv)
Any dyno tests @YUTW123 ?
I wish I could see the screen
The details can only be seen from youtube on a computer. The video is shot in 4k and it’s all visible.
The test is with 12s and not 16s though so who knows what could happen at higher voltages.
It looks like it holds 85A continuously at 77degC
At 150A motor current and 71A battery current, it puts out 3180W for 7s before hitting temperature limit.
The fact that it did not blow up has got me seriously interested
anybody else snag one of these? just fired mine up and its seems like the sensor port is all jacked up.
Yep, no 5v.
I’ve been messaging @YUTW123 back and forth for a while now, but he just keeps asking me to check if it’s broken, and I’m like “Yeah, it’s broken”, and he’ll be like “do you have a multimeter? is it broken?” and I’ll be like “yeah, it’s broken”, and then we’ve repeated that a few more times.
Anybody more familiar with getting them to actually help you out? I’ve bought a bunch of maker-x escs, but never had any issue until now.
i waited about a week for a response to returning mine…sold it instead.
I’ve been running 350 amps with the hi200 for while now. 17s, 150 batt amps. 350 motor amps
But don’t use 17s on Esk8. 16s yes
His situation is that 5v cannot be output. I have been communicating with him.
It seems to be caused by the socket soldering
Glad you got to the bottom of it.
